Omgeving, sfeer. Echt heel bijzonder! Zoveel te zien en heel sfeervol. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, heel prettige sfeer. Ontbijt was geweldig en uitgebreid! Heel veel te zien, leuke zitjes overal.

Sanitaire voorzieningen. Niet altijd voldoende privacy. Geen gordijn, plastic tegen het raam, waar men doorheen zou kunnen kijken.

Weet niet of jullie er iets mee kunnen,maar vooral de eerste nacht veel naaktslakken in het huisje,zelfs een paar in bed

Wat een heerlijke plek! Ik verbleef 2 nachten in de mintgroene sunrise hut. In het geluid van regen op het dak en vogeltjes buiten. Dit is echt een oase van rust. Je waant je direct op Bali tussen al het groen - wat een prachtig stuk grond met een grote diversiteit aan planten. Er zijn honden, kippen, eenden en pauwen op het terrein. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk, zorgen voor een warm welkom, staan open voor een praatje, maar respecteren ook je privacy, en ze reageren direct op appjes. Na check out tijd (11u) mag je nog op het terrein verblijven. Het ontbijt (bijbetalen) is uitgebreid met goeie koffie, afbakbroodjes, veel soorten kazen en fruit. De douches zijn warm en ruim. Het terrein kent vele leuke plekjes zoals mijn eigen veranda, de hangmatten (helaas had ik regen) en de zitjes in en rondom de ‘lounge area’. Je ziet dat de Bamboo Lodge met veel liefde en oog voor detail is opgezet. Echt een aanrader!

Could not use the main lodge area the first afternoon/evening because one of the staff was smoking inside there and we didn’t want to be inside with the strong scent of cigarette smoke. Coffee was not available until 9am unless you wanted to make your own with instant coffee.

Het was een mooie omgeving, veel bomen en dieren, eenden verwelkomden mij, dat was grappig. Ook was de jongen aan de balie erg vriendelijk

Ik vond het een tegenvaller dat ik geen wc/douche/wasbak op de kamer had. Dat had ik niet goed gezien op de site. Verder waaide het nogal hard en de lodge ging nogal schudden waardoor ik me niet helemaal veilig voelde.

Het is uniek de locatie de opzet en de verblijven. Er is veel vrijheid alles is bespreekbaar.

In plaats verblijven op een hotelkamer naar een plaats waar je zowel in het verblijf en erbuiten op de ruime terrassen je relaxen kan en je van rust en stilte kan genieten

Nicely different from regular accommodation. Very calm and relaxing with very friendly staff.

A risky idea very well executed. Rooms are large, clean and extremely comfy. You have to go with an open mindset tho. Only think I didn’t like is that, for the price I’ve paid (65€/night), I think it should have included breakfast. But the place is so authentic and the people is very kind. They also let me change my room to something bigger, with no extra expenses. So cool! Thanks Michel&company!

Like a small jungle oasis not far from the main centre. This was quiet and comfortable - great if you’re a smoker.

Great selection of breakfast. Wonderful staff. The chickens and peacocks hung out with me while I played 90s hip hop. Even the birds got great taste in music.

It was summertime. Unfortunately, I was a thirst trap for mosquitoes. :(

The check in went very nice with Rob; we had a convivial chat as he showed me around. There was a peacock, several chickens, a cat, parrot, a couple of dogs … all making it feel very nice and cozy. The room is cozy and a has a “rustic” feeling to it. The property in general is the type of place that would be nice to have several days at, just to hangout and read a book in the various nooks and crannies.

The mattress was one of the softest I’ve slept on. You just sink in, possibly never to be seen again!

I liked the aesthetic of the property. Also the animals were cool.

The property lies on the outskirts of Groningen downtown however city center it is very well reachable by a short walk and even better with a bike that you can rent on the spot. We stayed in a tent and it was interesting to be woken up by a peacock sitting at the tent entrance early in the morning. The ambience was quite relaxing and offers an extraordinary experience feeling like an oasis in a desert. We figured we should visit this place every now and then to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It gets quite cool at night times even during summer time so a portable heater would be best to avoid sleeping uncomfortably.

Relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff. Cabin was clean and nice, toilet/showers also. Breakfast very good, coffee excellent!

I like that it's immersed in nature and you have a peacock in the garden plus chickens and it's just a really beautiful environment.

Unfortunately when I stayed there the weather wasn't the warmest and it get pretty cold in the room even with the little heater on. Plus the bathroom was a shared hut that got really cold when showering. It was a bit uncomfortable having to go out there every time you needed the restroom. The bathroom hut and the bed were not the cleanest and it was hard to find the personnel to ask for clean towels. The reception was pretty much always empty.

Very comfortable bed. Quiet and relaxing setting.
