Very nice apartment! It had more than we needed for a great stay. Heidi was very nice to deal with and yes this place is in a really good location. We will return for sure.

Heidi was incredible! My stepson was ready to move to Tennessee as soon as we walked in. We all loved the apartment and all the thoughtfulness that is put into it. We definitely will be coming back!

Close friends wanted to explore the tri-cities of Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City for possible relocation and we selected the Blue Door for our weekend lodgings. It was perfect as it was located near major highways and the accommodations were immaculately clean, well stocked with essentials for cooking and offering all the amenities you might wish for. A bonus was beautifully landscaped outdoor seating and grilling areas. Heidi was a gracious and charming hostess. I highly recommend The Blue Door if you are staying in the area.

The Blue Door is a classy, convenient, comfortable and clean option for a stay in Kingsport. We were in for a wedding and found it to be perfect for our needs. Heidi made the reservation, check in and checkout process smooth. Highly recommended!

Heidi’s communication about check in was detailed and clear. We had no issues finding the property and accessing the apartment. It was bright and very spacious. The apartment was clean. Paper products were stocked (toilet paper, towels). It was exactly as described in the listing. There needs were clean and comfortable. Great location! Lots to do within minutes of the property. We would definitely recommend this property.

Couldn’t have been any better. Home was wonderful, perfect location. Property was beautiful. Hosts were so kind and extremely accommodating. Everything you need at your fingertips plus some. I appreciate the little things like welcome notes and even a sympathy card as our host knew we were flying in for a funeral service. We loved our stay and will rent again next time we visit. Thank you so much!!

We Loved The Blue Door!! Perfect location for activites in Kingsport. Great space for my adult family and our goldendoodle. Very well appointed and beautifully decorated. The host is very friendly and helpful! We loved it and hope to make it our home away from home when visiting the area. Thank You!!

Booking was a breeze—excellent communication with the owner and information posted for our arrival, stay, and departure. The apartment was well stocked and beautifully decorated. Beds were VERY comfortable and plenty of linens and supplies (including having coffee, tea, soap, etc.) Very nicely located for all of our plans in town. Also, the master suite being located opposite to the other rooms was a really relaxing feature for traveling with a family. Thank you!

I’ve stayed at several VRBO properties over the years but this was the cleanest by far. Beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave! Stay here- you won’t be disappointed!

We liked this property so much that we stayed a second time! The property continues to be so clean and pleasant. We had easy access to everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The amenities are far beyond anything we would get if we stayed at a hotel. We will continue to stay at the Blue Door anytime we go to Kingsport.

We had such a great stay at the Blue Door. The apartment is so roomy and comfortable. It is stocked with everything you need to have home away from home. The neighborhood is peaceful and great for walking, yet the location is so close to everything you need. We were first time visitors, and the hosts were so helpful with all of their recommendations. So many are listed within the apartment, with their local tips added in. Everything was labeled great and clear directions for checkout were provided. The beds are very comfortable - we all caught up on restful sleep. We would highly recommend The Blue Door for visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Blue Door. The owners' attention to details made our stay so enjoyable and easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of dishes, appliances, and teas and coffees! There are games and books for families. The laundry room was clean and bright. The mattresses were very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep, even that first night.
It was a convenient location. The owners were accessible and friendly. The stay was very comfortable and a "home away from home."
