We were only staying for a couple nights in the off season, but the place suited our needs just fine. Comfortable and clean and private. Nice relaxing view of the lake. Had everything we needed to cook breakfast, and a very responsive host company when we could not get the a/c working (fixed it within the half hour).

The description and pictures online were a bit off. The deck area is over the road, not looking at the lake. The email with check in info got derailed, but all in all, a nice place, we might stay there again. I would recommend.

Beautiful rustic suite with Adirondack style decor. Perfect location, beautiful views and loved having an outside deck with fire pit. Excellent restaurants were in close proximity and numerous activities were present in Bolton and surrounding towns. Appreciated that we were able to travel with our dog.

Nice views, a great location, a restaurant, and a marina are basically downstairs. It's also a 5-minute drive to other nice restaurants and a supermarket in Bolton. The suite is perfect for 2 people – clean, cozy, and comfortable. Even though the outdoor area is close to the street, you don't feel the noise much. Highly recommended for those looking to take advantage of the activities around the lake. Muchas gracias!

This was a beautiful apartment with a summer kitchen and a propane grill. The view was beautiful. Like a real life Bob Ross painting. It is steps away from the Algonquin restaurant who’s food is delicious. Also Chics Marina is next to the restaurant. You can rent a boat there for a decent price with quality customer service. Northern Living had excellent customer service. I am looking forward to staying here again.

Place was completely as described. Rented boat several days from Chic’s Marina. Hung out on patio afterwards and grilled. Restaurant next door was a plus. Very close to town (Bolton Landing) Highly recommend

We had a great time. The lake view suite bottom unit was very clean and well kept. It has a great view of the lake, some islands and the boat activity from the marina next door. The stone patio was where we ended every night, enjoying the nice cool evenings and friendly conversations with some neighbors. A great place to stay!

I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy the area, but would highly recommend this place. Super responsive when I had questions, easy to get in, dedicated, close parking.

The property was clean, updated with a great view of lake George. It was quiet and peaceful.

Our stay was pleasant and the property was as stated, clean and comfortable. The only slight disappointment was the shower. It was grandiose in appearance but the water pressure was not good. If someone needed to sit on the bench to utilize the shower the water would not reach them from the shower head. There was plenty of hot water tho. Also, there were no cleaning products in the residence as stated. To sum it up, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others! Thank you.

Perfect winter getaway to our favorite lake. Much of the town shut down, but a beautiful, quiet time away.

Unfortunately we did not have a very good experience. It started out nice, but our vacation took an unexpected turn when our pet was rushed to the Emergency Vet before we would have departed for our Christmas vacation. At the same time, winter Storm Elliot hit with both our home state of NC and arrival state of NY issuing a State of Emergency for travel. Thank goodness after several days our pet made it out of the E-vet, which was Friday. Even if he was ready for a 12 hour car ride, which he is no way was as care continued from home, the Governor of NY ordered people not to travel until Sunday. We were offered to re-schedule our reservation, but only within 30 days. We asked if they would extend the credit longer so we could actually plan a vacation for the summer or after that which we would have planned for. They declined and the owner said it was “was generous at that” and that “they didnt have to do anything at all”. Unfortunately thats basically what they did, because you just cant re-schedule Christmas vacation to see family that arent there 30 days later. We requested some type of refund, even a small percentage, and the owner of Northern Living instead made accusations and insulted us in that they were not effected by the storm and that the State of Emergency was no big deal. Whether they did keep their power on, or ultimately did not have as bad of storm is a moot point since our concern was safety in driving acrossed 6 states in a state of emergency. VRBO refunded their side of the small booking fee since they said it was very unusual for us to not of been offered any type of refund in the situation and were empathetic, however ultimately the owner and the property management company kept our money. It was a very large sum, that which we fel was overpriced in conciderarion the property only had 1 other booking until September of 2023. It would have been in their interest to fill some time that had not been booked. We are certain this review will probably result in retaliation from Northern Living or the owner of this rental, as it would be in line with our experience thus far. Despite this threat we feel obligated to share our experience. It’s unfortunate since we grew up in the area and our family has run resorts in Lake George for ages; when we visit we will need to avoid Northen Living rentals as well as discourage others from having a similar experience.

The location is beautiful, easy to get to and seemless checkin, perfect instructions. It’s all worth it for the view of the lake in the morning! JUST GORGEOUS! I spent hours drinking coffee and staring out the window. we planned a ski trip, but it was a bust due to the record heat and rain on the dates, so the stay in the cabin made it worth it. We hiked around the lake and Cat mountain, and had some good time sitting at the firepit. The place has a huge comfy bed, fantastic shower and kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make yourself meals. 100% recommended and will come back again for the summer!

I have nothing but good things to say about our experience in this beautiful studio apartment! It is clean, perfect location, great views, close to The Barrel (a wonderful restaurant and bar) and minutes from the quaint town of Bolton Landing stores and supermarket! The town of Bolton Landing is charming and perfect. Close enough to Lake George Village but not right in the middle of all the tourism. I’ll be honest, when we got there I wasn’t sure about being that close to the Algonquin Restaurant. But we didn’t hear any noise coming from there at all. The view of the lake is spectacular, and we timed the fall foliage perfectly. We were accidentally intruded upon by the cleaning lady two mornings early, but thankfully we were dressed and not in the middle of anything embarrassing.😂 I would definitely recommend staying at this property!

Fabulous with amazing views!

Love it! Comfortable and clean. Expect to eat out since there is no stove or oven, but that's part of the experience. It's a great place to stay and not far from the Lake George village.

Place was great, immaculate view close to all of great places in Bolton but perfectly enough away.

The room was newly updated, with a beautiful view of the lake. Nice amenities and management was very responsive. Would recommend.

We had a great time. Views from the place are great. Enjoyed the porch and patio area. Place is well equipped and convenient to town and Boltons landing.

Everything about this property is new, including the interior of the apartment itself and the surrounding grounds. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the view. Dog-friendly too! Having the Algonquin restaurant right next door was easy for dinner after a long day of traveling. Same with Chic's Marina, where we rented a boat for two days on the lake and could just walk over. This is not a "secluded" location, but still offers amazing lake views out the front window and easy access to restaurants and amenities.

This property has given me back my happy place. If possible, I will stay here whenever I'm in town. The view is stellar. Well worth the price.
