The house was exactly as pictured. So much room, the views are beautiful! The only negative, we brought our fur babies and the back yard where the pool is, was not completely fenced as we were told. We came the 2nd week of February and were not able to use the pool due to cooler weather. The beds were fantastic! The home was clean and well put together. The garage/gameroom was awesome! Great communication with management. We would recomend Pier 6 and The Landry House for dinner out. Galveston Beach is a short drive. The private pier is pretty scary, but the guys went out daily and took a charter fishing trip as well. We would definitely come back! A good time was had by all!

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this San Leon home. The pictures and listing were very accurate, and the Owner/Host was very engaged and easy to reach. The property was also great and inviting, whether you are using the awesome pool or sitting in the back yard areas to relax. The only cons from our perspective were the following: the main bath toilet seat was fully cracked in half at the front so it was difficult to sit on, and even though the Owner was very responsive, no maintenance person showed up to replace it; kitchen could use a little TLC just from an aesthetics standpoint; we'd prefer curtains or blinds on all the windows that have none for privacy (especially when you're in an unfamiliar location); the upstairs deck could use chairs instead of one bench as the view is awesome - understand that this could be challenging due to wind/weather, so maybe ones that are permanently anchored would work; the upstairs bathroom door could use a curtain or covers on the glass panels (again for the privacy factor); the fishing pier is definitely rickety, so that is a "do so at your own risk" kind of thing. Aside from those minor items, everything else was lovely and we would absolutely stay here again. Look forward to booking our next trip here!!

First of all the property did not look like the pictures. Garden needed manicured, trees needed trimmed, house was not that clean, furniture needed updating, toilet seat was broken, saw some roaches, holds in the front of the house, pool was not clean, at the back door walking to the car there are some parts of the walkway that need repair could cause a bad accident also on the upper deck a board was broken. It was just not what I expected. I was very disappointed with location and look of house. Needs painting.

First I want to say that over all this is a very nice house with a great pool. There where a few issues with the kitchen that I was not happy with. Cabinets and Drawers where dirty and we where having a family dinner so I used part of my time cleaning them. I also felt I had to wash all the items in the drawers. The kitchen need some repair on drawers that are broke. They have tons of flatware and plates but not much cookware and what is there is broke. I ended up buying a frying pan. The rest of the house is very nice and I had no other issues. Russell the house manager it very responsive to your texts and I was happy with this. The pool was fantastic and the upstairs bed room is beautiful. I wish the upstairs deck had chairs not a large bench. The bay had beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We are not fishing people but the pier looked a little unsafe but I grew up on this bay and you can fish lots of place or off the water front. There is a country park near by you can fish at if that is what you want to do. The back yard needs some maintenance but with the current hot weather in Texas that was not supprising to me. The front yard was great and it was easy to walk our dog. So I would rent this house again or from Beach Box. Hopefully they will get the kitchen fixed so it is a perfect house.

loved the house for the weekend! Room set up was perfect for our group and had all the amenities. The pool was great, we grilled, and went fishing off the pier. If you’re planning to cook for a large group would recommend bringing bigger pots/pans but there was some smaller ones supplied there! We had a welcome committee of a little stray cat who was super friendly and cute but did try and sneak into the house once or twice. Overall had a great time!

I didn’t mention it at the time (I informed owner upon us checking out), since we had a dog with us and pest control treatment could be harmful to the dog, but it seems like a roach infestation throughout the inside of the house. We killed/got rid of well over 100 small roaches, multiple large roaches, and multiple spiders all inside the house throughout our stay. I also had a large spider fall on me from the ceiling. Again, we didn’t mention it during the stay due to the dog, but did message the owner about it, upon checking out, with no response to that specific message. The stay was quite stressful due to the bugs, so we tried to spend most of our time outside. When we first arrived there was food crumbled up on the couch and dark human hair all over the living room floor. Probably the dirtiest place any of us have ever stayed, especially due to the bugs. We had to clean the entire kitchen ourselves when we first got there, as well as the living room. The pool company doesn’t clean the pool well at all (we watched). If you have kids or elderly people (which we did not) I would not recommend it if you’re looking to fish off of the pier because the pier is very unsafe with multiple loose boards, boards without connected support boards underneath, and one of the steps leading up to the top deck at the end of the pier is completely missing (very hazardous);We wore life jackets out on the pier and felt lucky if we made it to the end of the pier and back each day. (Out of space)

Everything about this property is amazing, my family and I had an incredible time. The pool is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures. All of the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We cannot wait to return but would recommend staying for more than one night!! PS: we got to see the dolphins from the dining rooms window

Our family of 12 had a wonderful stay at the property. There were plenty of beds, and the pool was very well-maintained.

Had a good time fishing and relaxing. Very comfortable stay. Nice pool would’ve liked better weather but it was awesome.

The pool is so unique but most importantly the beds were awesome! The A/C works amazing which is very important in a humid environment. The location was great. We will be back!

The house was perfect, the pool is amazing! The owners were quick to respond to all of our questions and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Great home for a family trip.

We were in town for appointments at the MD Anderson campus in League City. This was a spacious and comfortable place for us to stay and work remotely. Convenient location to League City and other places south of Houston.
