We so enjoyed our time in this condo. The direct walkout to the grounds was a plus and only a few steps to the pool area and the beach. The condo was lovely…it was bright, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious balcony. We were extremely pleased with our accommodations and will definitely visit this property again.

This was a nice retreat for our summer vacation. The place was spacious, clean, and all the amenities we could possibly need. Loved the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas! Would highly recommend!

Overall we had a fantastic stay at this property. We have stayed at Grande Villas several times and because of the grounds, location and beach services it is our favorite on Emerald Isle. The only thing I would point out is the "entrance process". Your key cards are kept behind the front door entrance counter (so go to the front before parking in the underground garage). We arrived at roughly 6pm and so all doors were locked. There was a reluctant security guard at that counter location, but he was less than super helpful. There is a note in the condo about this - that person is evidently employed by one of the larger real estate companies on the island. Still it was odd. Great view, great beach and the condo was as represented once we got in. Thanks!

We’ll appointed condo located in Indian Beach. Overall accommodations were nice and new. Unfortunately it rained all weekend.

This was our first time staying in this area of North Carolina and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. A prior reviewer had posted that his wife always finds problems with places they stay, and in my house, I'm that person; however, in this case, I was very pleased to find that the descriptions and information were 100% accurate for this lovely condo. It was clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting outside. The property was well-maintained and so quiet and the other tenants were very friendly. While cooler temperatures kept us from enjoying the beach and pool as much as we would have liked, there were plenty of other activities in the area to entertain us. And we found tons of great restaurants to frequent as well. We look forward to returning and booking the condo again in the future.

This place has everything you could want — game room/weight room, pool, outdoor communal fire pit, quick and easy access to the beach, good parking, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious private patio, beautiful and clean rooms. Communication with the renter was great — very friendly with clear and helpful instructions for checking in. And they were quick to respond to questions and issues. This was our first trip to the island and we're already planning our return (especially since we didn't make it out to Shackleford as we had planned). It took us some time to get acquainted with the grocery situation which was a bit of a drive but the landscape of the island is so nice we didn't mind. Unlike Topsail, Surf City, Wrightsville, Carolina, etc., on the Atlantic/Indian Beaches you see more trees than houses and you can almost always see water from the main road. Just lovely.

Not only was it a very easy rental but the condo was beautiful and the condo complex felt very safe and was very well-kept. We would recommend it to anybody. It was also very easy to communicate with the property manager. Just an overall great experience!

This short getaway was quiet, peaceful and the location of the unit(ocean front) was the best. Wonderful way to spend my birthday weekend. The unit was absolutely gorgeous.

The property was easy to find, the pictures match perfectly, the beds are comfortable, it is a little further then we thought from things but it actually made it nice and peaceful. We will be back! My wife who finds something wrong with everywhere we stay found nothing! I was a happy man. Lol.

Property was better than advertised! Very updated, clean, and perfect for our needs. Very convenient location. Host was so thoughtful to leave us a welcome basket of snacks and Sangria. What a nice touch! When we come back to these NC Beaches, this property is a definite redo!

This location is so nice! It feels very on the beach like a beach house but with the ammenities of a condo. The views are just as pictured -- so beautiful and relaxing from both the balcony and inside the bedroom/living room. Not sure if it's just the weekend we were there in mid august, but neither the beach nor the pool were crowded. The other people we interacted with were very nice and the property/area had a great vibe. Lots of restaurants in the area. The condo itself is clean and bright. The interior decorations, high ceilings, and large windows give it a very open, light feel, even on rainy days. We'd love to stay again. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful Condo and so convenient to Pool and Beach. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend Whale Watch at Grande Villas. Hope to stay there again one day.

The only reason I rated communication "good" instead of "excellent" with the property manager was I tried to contact her via the VRBO app DM and did not receive a reply too quickly. Once I reached out via her cell phone everything was great and she was very helpful.

This condo was very clean and had a great beach vibe upon arrival. It was a perfect location for us because it was a first floor unit and had extremely easy access to the pool and beach. It made going back and forth so easy and convenient. I was worried that we wouldn’t be able to see the water with it being on the first floor, however there was a nice view of the ocean from 2 different angles. Overall it was a great stay and would highly recommend, especially if traveling with small children.

We enjoyed our family trip to Indian Beach. The villa was exactly as described. It was very clean and great oceanfront location. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

You will not get better than this. Grande Villas is a no brainer, but this condo specifically is amazing. Walk right out to the beach and pool. Tastefully decorated, clean, excellent communication with property manager!

The condo feels spacious, with its high ceilings and light, beachy colors. It’s beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The condo has a very large covered deck with plenty of chairs and a table. It has a view of the pool and ocean beyond. The view would probably be better on a higher floor, but the first floor was convenient. We contacted the property manager when the dishwasher didn’t work, and she responded quickly, explaining there was a switch to turn the power on. I also mentioned a recessed light was out in the main bath. She told us where the light bulbs were located, but the ceiling was too high to change the bulb ourselves. We enjoyed the Netflix access for evening movie-watching. The resort’s pool is large and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We took advantage of the exercise room, which also has ocean views. We even played some of the arcade games in the game room.

We were very happy with the condition and cleanliness of the rental, and overall property.

The Villa was very well appointed and extra clean. Nice gift basket waiting for us upon arrival. Will definitely Stat here again if we get back to the North Carolina coast.
