What a wonderful find: the studio is spacious and sunny, the extensive grounds are lovely and the host is very welcoming but not intrusive. The location is a quick bike ride to the town of Little Compton and several amazing South County beaches.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Set on a beautiful property in a very quaint, bucolic location. Loved the loft space with its bunkbeds and indoor hammock. Our hosts were very nice and chill. It was a lovely, relaxing weekend. Would go back!

Doug was a great host. He gave us great insight into little compton and all the great sights surrounding it. A very nice little upstairs stay with a lot of space and some cool VHS ( Top Gun!). I highly recommend

Doug and Dabba were very welcoming and responsive. The place is very cute and met all our needs. While the bed is less firm than we are used to, we found it surprisingly comfortable; the pillows are excellent!

Four of us stayed here comfortably. We loved the “slumber party” atmosphere with having one open room. The place was decorated well and clean. It is very private, even though the host lives next door in the main house. The hosts gave fantastic advice for where to eat, what beaches to go to and what to explore. The location of this rental was fantastic! So peaceful and relaxing. If we are in the area again, we will stay here. Amazing!

This was the just right stay for us as we attended a wedding in the area. Douglas was very easy to communicate with through out as well as being generously accommodating of our desire to alter our plans by a day as possibilities of Hurricane Lee approached. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay, things were clean, AC worked well, and the hosts gave us privacy, but also checked to make sure we had everything we needed. To stream stuff they have an apple tv, so if you don’t have an iphone, you may want to consider bringing something with you if you want to watch specific things (like a fire stick or chromecast). A few reviews have mentioned allergies - we didn’t smell any smoke or have any issues there, but the house is in a woodsy setting and near the coast, so if you have allergies to that type of stuff, you may have issues - i brought extra allergy medicine with me just in case, and everything was fine. Overall, we would stay again, our dog really enjoyed smelling around the yard, and if you’re looking for a beer/wine/liquor store check out Lee’s market - we were really impressed for such a small area. Stayed August 2023 We had a wonderful stay at Doug and Dabba's place. We were concerned about staying in one room, but the studio is spacious, well-designed, and supplied with all the necessities. Doug and Dabba were wonderful hosts, who were very helpful and friendly. They respected our privacy, answered questions quickly, and were always happy to help make our stay as successful as possible. And it was. We definitely recommend this rental!

Our stay was great! The loft was perfect for our needs and the hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable :) It’s very beautiful and quiet here-close to beaches/woods. House has everything you would need -Would definitely book again in the future!

My husband and I booked this place as a stop on our way home from Maine. We were interested in stopping in Newport and this place seemed quiet and convenient. Immediately after booking we received a message from Doug and Dabba, they were wonderful and welcoming right from the start. We brought our dog with us and the place was perfect. It was a great size, lots of room for everything. The kitchen area was well stocked, we cooked several meals and ate at the great kitchen table. Doug and Dabba were amazing hosts and even offered us lots of great suggestions about things to do with our dog, some even became highlights of our trip. We were all very sad to leave, especially our dog!! We would love to stay here again if we are in the area!

For a quick trip, this was a lovely place to stay. We were away most of the time, and really just spent nights on the property. Kid friendly and peaceful.

We spent 2 nights here with our dog and chose it mainly with him in mind; very dog friendly. We booked the property as a central spot for the area trails we hiked and for a part of RI we had never been to. The road is very quiet/little traffic so very safe to take walks on. Lots of windows made for nice breeze through room and kept it cool. And even though this is a non-smoking property, there was a cigarette smoke smell when we first arrived but with windows open it quickly cleared. Property was very clean and even though the owners were around, we were given our space. We enjoyed chatting with Doug about the places we had visited and he gave us a brief rundown about Little Compton. Our dog loved meeting him too! Very limited pantry items, but we brought already-made salads, deli meat, etc so I didn’t have to rely on ingredients. However, the owners would have supplied anything we would have needed. The only suggestion we would have would be to put the mini fridge on a table/platform to lift it higher. Guests of our age or older may have a hard time accessing it while on floor. Overall, the loft is as advertised.

We really liked the location, the property and the hosts. Being able to bring our dog along was a huge relief too. We would absolutely stay there again!

You may have problems if you have allergies to smoke.

We enjoyed our weekend stay! Nice backyard, easy parking and access, cute loft space with lots of natural light. Not too far from Newport and dog friendly!

I rented this Studio for our daughter and 8 year old twins for a week. They loved it! The large open room is very well appointed with comfortable furniture and beds. The decor is eye catching, especially the indoor hammock. The setting is private with a lovely porch that looks out to a landscaped lawn and woodland beyond. We are so pleased with this precious place that we plan to rent again this Summer. Thank you so much Dabba & Doug!

Absolutely wonderful stay in Little Compton! I took my husband and little boy (9) down here with our dog for the weekend, and we had such a wonderful time. Gorgeous cozy space with a great vibe, quiet area. Doug was an awesome host. Would absolutely come back :)
