We enjoyed the proximity to the beach , the cleanliness and convenience of the home.

The unit is in an ideal location, close to downtown, shopping, historical sites and the beach. Plenty of room to relax and feel at home. I have children and grandchildren living in Ventura. This unit provides ample room to visit and spend time with family. This is an ideal rental unit and I would definitely use it again when I return to the Ventura area in the future.

Our last stay of 5 nights using VRBO at Eagles Nets in Avalon we received a 5 start rating from the owners . Upon arrival your Ventura beach house wen discovered 3 areas outside 1.Front gate entry 2.Front yard. 3.Back yard. Someone did not pick up after their dog . Not happy!

This is a very nice property. Close to the beach—easy walk—convenient to shopping and eating areas. The washing machine gasket needed cleaning. Otherwise, the place was spotless. The dryer is quite noisy. This was a great place for my husband and teenage son and I to meet my son who lives in LA. The hot tub was great, the kitchen is nice, the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The property is well-situated, well maintained, well cared for and a perfect place to enjoy the beach, long walks, bike trails, mountain hikes, and a trip to the Channel Islands which is a must do!

The home was very clean, updated and equipped with all that we needed. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Across the street from a State Park and just down the street from the ocean. The place was very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Internet a little shaky.

Water ran all night. Finally some one came but could not fix. Wasted half the day waiting for a solution. Ended up using a wrench for the shower handle.

I had great weather for January. The place is nicely appointed & kitchen well stocked. The only down side was the expectation to not wear shoes in the house was unexpected & a little unreasonable.

Travel with an infant is hard, and this place was perfect for us. The beach was close enough for morning walks, the hot tub was ideal for the adults to relax in while our little one slept, and Ventura is situated such that we could head to Ojai and Santa Barbara with ease. Great place, would absolutely stay here again if heading to the area.

It was exactly what we were looking for. Nice and clean and walkable to beach and town. Enough utensils to cook for the family and we lived sitting in the cosy sitting room for family movie night.

Was in Ventura for a meeting, but didn't want to stay at the conference hotel. This property was ideal for our needs--quiet, yet close (2 short blocks) to the beach, well-appointed and clean on our arrival. Plenty of space for two people, would be comfortable for a family with two kids.

This is a very cozy cottage. It was convenient not only to beaches but bike and walk paths. The jacuzzi was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was well stocked as far as pots and pans with cooking staples. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I walked on the beach every morning and I took simple short walks down to seaward avenue.

Enjoyed our stay went with my kids for my birthday and we all had a great time. Close to everything and a cozy unit.

More than pleased with this darling VRBO. It is well appointed and close to the beach. The hot tub is a definite plus. If ever back in Ventura, well stay there again.

Had a great week at this house with my family and two sons. The beach is a block away and the bike path begins practically outside the front door. The house was spotless-- no complaints. The photos are accurate. I read the other reviews.: we had no problems with the wifi, and the hot tub is new, clean, and fantastic. There is definitely a microwave in the kitchen. the kitchen is well stocked for basic meal preparation. The extra tv room and loft was welcome additional space with teens. I was unsure about booking with an agency (Turnkey) instead of directly with an owner, but the process was smooth and they were very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely rent this property again.

We loved staying her, close to back, bike path, downtown and neighborhood restaurants. Adorable place, comfortable beds, great hot tub.

The home was clean, orderly and easy to check-in/enter. Parking was perfect. Home is perfect for small family for small/medium sized bedrooms and single bath. The 2 living spaces have ample room to enjoy. Furniture is mostly updated although wobbly legs of couch in TV/Lounge will not last long . Double bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the one of kind art and vintage accents. Hot tub was great. Did a clean cycle in the middle of week long stay. It became the main focus of the R n R as the weather the 2nd week of May was frigid and not possible to swim or frolic in the sand at the beach. Plan your trip accordingly. Quiet neighborhood is across from moderately busy CA State park beach and provided open scenery for front facing views (seasonal volume may effect noise etc). Sides and back of house of less private, stacked right up to the neighbors on the back and side. Kitchen was clean and ready to use (management could specify organization for cleaning crew so things are easier to find but everything needed for any meals were found). Management was very responsive to needs - a few burnt out light bulbs and a broken washer. Pretty easy walk to local small restaurants and Ventura pier. Short drive and easy access to everything else. Overall, if the weather is friendlier, it's a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. Can’t beat the location and the property is in great shape and very clean. If I have any suggestions it would be to repair the jets in your jacuzzi. I did read that others had the same issue and it is still not repaired but we enjoyed it all the same.
