The owner, Anette was Very helpful and friendly. Very clean throughout. Great mattress, so comfy and firm. Quirky attractive decor. Liked the induction cookers. Tastful styling of apartment. Lots of space. I would give the place a higher rating but would need reassurance about serious fire related compliance issues.

Ventilation was very poor. Cant think how hot the place would be in summer. Widows hardly open. Fire/building regs? No fire escape. No fire ladder and no advice instuctions and signage incase of fire. No extractor fan for the kitchenette which would be better located on an outside wall. 5 flights of stairs. Hallway unattractive.

Great location with plenty to see and do nearby. Very charming apartment with access to anything you would need. Annette was a very friendly and welcoming host, and checked in throughout the week to see if anything else was needed.

The property had fifty one very steep steps to the room, it looked like the building was derelict, front door was hanging off two nights, no security what so ever for two nights. Only two real beds and a child’s pull out mattress which was completely worn out. The walk to the beach was down a very steep hill Even for fit people it wasn’t easy. Excessive traffic noise from early morning to late evening and it was unbearable hot in the rooms with only a tiny slot in windows. Alarm going off at two o’clock in the morning when we were all asleep. No cooker and sink was not joined to the wall.

Very attentive lovely owner lady kept asking us any problems every day. Very careful and kind. There were towels and even toothbrushes were provided. The interiors are very funky and seaside look decorations. Just two doors next to Co-op, pubs, cafes are all near by. Very convenient. Nice walking distance to the beach as well. We enjoyed staying in the apartment very much.

We wanted to cook pizzas and chips but unfortunately there wasn't oven in the apartment.

The cutesy styled kitchen was a nice touch, and the location means it is literally a couple minutes walk to the seaside. Annette is very sweet, helpful and communicative with any questions you may have.

If you have any issues with mobility the multiple flights of stairs could be challenging, as it is at the top floor.

Great location. Close to the town centre, with shops and a bus stop nearby. The beach was a 5 minute walk away.

There was a misunderstanding about what constitutes secure cycle storage. I specifically asked at the time of booking if there was somewhere secure to store our bicycles during our stay. The owner confirmed, but when we arrived we were advised that we could not store the bikes inside and that there was no outside space belonging to the property. Disappointing. If we had been fore warned we could have planned for it.

Town centre, on third floor, so quite a few stairs, and a bit noisy. However, the flat is lovely, retro in style, well equipped, very clean, and comfortable. Free overnight parking about 5 min walk away.

Apartment was spotlessly clean. Very quirky. Host communication was excellent.

The location was ideal. The decor was very cool and unusual and it was very clean. Annette communicated well before our stay and check in/out were seamless. There were many appliances available to use along with complementary tea, coffee and biscuits Toiletries, towels and linen were also provided at no extra cost.

It was warm at night, especially in the bedroom. Being on the top floor, the windows had safety locks which prevented them being opened too far. That said there was a fan provided.

Just as described with excellent host. Very clean and comfortable and perfect location. Great value for money.
