Mickaël was there to greet us when we arrived and popped over with bread and a blackberry tart. The house was as described, comfortable and just what we needed after a long journey from London. The house is in an ideal location for exploring Normandy.

The place is super comfortable Michael's a great host he even drove us to the bus! The place is absolutely lovely and a wonderful neighborhood about 7 minutes walk to The Village.

The owner Mickael (he is WONDERFUL) lives next door and was available at any point to answer questions and assist with just about everything. It was quite a homerun as far as location and amenities. The house is a 12 minute walk to the center of town, whether you are touring beautiful Bayeux, or meeting a tour company at Pl. de Quebec. There is everything from a city market, to cafes, to restaurants. Also boutiques on the main street, and historical points (ie, Bayeux Cathedral, the Tapestry Museum). There is a small kitchen (two burner stove top, oven, microwave, dishwasher) with dishes if one wishes to have a meal there. The backyard area is very quaint so as to sit outside in the sun on a nice day. There is also a fireplace on cooler nights, if you ask the owner, Mickael, for some wood for a fire (we visited the beginning of March). It was just delightful and comfortable. Also, very clean, nice bathrooms and shower. There is WiFi, which was great!!!

The apartment looks like it was recently renovated and furnished. It is in a very quiet location, with ample parking space, and at walking distance from Bayeux center. The owner living next door was friendly.

Nothing major. We felt it was a bit bare-minimum. The essentials are there, and all good and new, but that's it. We saw several minor things that could be improved. The heating struggled to warm the place in the morning and there was no wood for the (nice) fireplace (the owner did bring some on request). Sofa and chairs were rather Spartan. Stair handrail and toilet seat were a bit flimsy. Coffee machine and front door lock had issues.

Lovely little house, very clean, comfortable and equipped. Located a 10 minute easy walk from the town centre, cathredral and museums. Highly recommended.

Location is perfect, quiet and close to Bayeux, the little Garden is cozy, the hosts are very nice people.

Some things are still in work like a wardrobe.
