My brother and I, plus our families, were coming from several different states to lay our parents to rest in Arlington. There was an incredible amount of planning and attention to details that were needed. Throughout the entire process of booking our stay, to responding to questions while we were there, Amy took such wonderful care of us. Very caring, assertive, and responsive! While looking for a venue to host our family following the burial, Amy went above and beyond and reached out to a local restaurant and made the arr The home is beautiful, very clean, and very close to everything we wanted to see and do.

We booked Amy’s home for my dad’s 85th birthday. I was a little worried we could have some allergy issues with one of my relatives since it is pet friendly. And I always worry about pet smells with pet friendly homes. But her home is spotless with no signs of a pet at all. She was so sweet to even change the air filters before our arrival when I voiced my concerns. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed and a nice long table. And it was a super easy check in and out. Great size house for our family and foos ball was a hit. The yard is huge too but it was a bit cold to be outside during our stay. We would stay here again and highly recommend it! Thanks Amy for your hospitality and providing us with a a great place to enjoy family time and celebrate my dad. 😊

This property was great for our family trip to Washington D.C. The home was comfortable and plenty of space for everyone.

Our family got together for our daughter’s promotion. House was great and the owners communication was great. They put an electronic book together with suggestions on dining and area attractions that is awesome. We had a few minor issues and they were resolved promptly. We would highly recommend this property.

We had college reunion of 5 friends and house was spacious enough with plenty of amenities. Very private from neighbors too. Good location to visit DC, Great Falls, Annapolis, Eastern shore of MD. Many local restaurants. Host Amy and Owen quickly respond to requests and inquiries.

It's pretty rare to find a house as well-appointed and comfortable as this one. The kitchen is set up for people who like to cook and eat, whether it's making a smoothie (Ninja!), drying greens for salad (salad spinner!), or baking cookies (baking sheets!). The beds are comfortable, and the common areas have TVs, plenty of seating, and enough room to move around. Every bedroom has a desk, so working remotely is absolutely possible here. The fenced-in backyard is large and grassy, with plenty of bird visitors, so your pup will be really happy. The neighborhood is very quiet, but just a short walk will get you to a small park, a slightly longer walk will get you to a large park (Holmes Run), and a quick drive will get you to a shopping center with a Harris Teeter, nail salon, pet supply store, and plenty of small restaurants. DC is a short drive away, along with Arlington and Old Town Alexandria. Amy (the host) is responsive and really helpful. This is one of my favorite VRBO choices ever!
