We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The home was stacked with everything we could need. The screen porch was great and we used it for hours every day. The kitchen was fully stocked and didn't leave us needing anything for cooking/preparing meals. The added extras contributed to the enjoyment of our stay!!

We having been staying in Kingston Cove since 1982. John has done a remarkable job with this property. Everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Home is very clean, back porch was a great place for the family to hang out and play games. Can’t wait to go back next year. Ted

We had a wonderful tome at John’s house! The screened in porch is such a retreat, we spent so much time out there, especially our kids. The bike ride to the beach took us more like 10-15 minutes to get there but we also had kids but it didn’t deter us. Would definitely stay again!

Well equipped, clean and close to everything. Anything we could need was there…bikes, beach toys, all the cooking equipment we needed! There was a problem with one of the bikes and John had it fixed the same day. Highly recommended.

Perfect layout for families. We all loved watching the wildlife on the lagoon. The kitchen is well stocked. The house is very clean and the flooring is so much more hygenic than carpeting. Highly recommend.

John’s home was excellent in every way. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and came with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. We loved watching the wildlife from the screened in porch and the kids really enjoyed riding the bikes on all of the bike paths. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. This was one of my family's best trips to HHI! We had a wonderful time at the beach and at this property. The house is spotless! Very bright, coastal feel. All the bedrooms are a nice size with ample closet space. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Short drive/walk to the beach. I think our favorite part of this house is the beautiful screened-in porch. After a long day at the beach, it was so nice to relax with a glass of wine in the evening overlooking the lagoon. I would definitely book here again for future HHI vacations.

We really enjoyed John’s house, it was spacious, clean ,and he provided the extra things you might of forgot ( pack-n-play) beach towels , and such. we hope to go back shy next year

This was our first trip to Hilton Head and we loved it. Everything was great. Accommodations were perfect for our group.

The property actually EXCEEDED our expectations; everything was exactly as described -- and I was even surprised to find such a well-equipped kitchen, with good quality equipment! Neighborhood couldn't have been better, either - truly first class!

We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for Christmas 32 years now. Had a timeshare for 30 of those years. This house was actually our original timeshare before it was sold private about 15 years ago. Owner has upgraded the interior and exterior and it is well kept. Unfortunately weather was unusually cold this year and we had a family medical issue prior to arriving. Will rent again.

This property was amazing, the lagoon and all its creatures are fun to watch from the screened-in patio. The house was spotless and really comfortable. It was easy to get around and the owner John was amazing to work with, we will be back and for sure will stay at this property.

We loved staying in shipyard. Great location, short bike ride to beach access & close to many restaurants/shops. Loved the shipyard community! Tons of bike/walking paths & swimming pool a few houses down. House had a wonderful screened in back porch, great space with 2 bedrooms separate from master (great for our family of 5!) John was so easy to communicate with and made our stay so enjoyable & easy!’

This is the second time we stayed at Kingston Cove #26. Both times were wonderful. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and 2 grandsons under six. The lagoon view with alligators was fascinating for the grandsons. Weather was perfect. Looking for memories, this is your place!

Ok at first I thought the other reviewers were exaggerating when describing this place, but now that we have stayed here, if anything, they didn't say enough. This place is awesome, immaculately clean, furnished beautifully, AC is artic cold, bathrooms quite tranquil, location is sublime, the lake is amazing, and the screened in porch w/ 2 ceiling fans and flatscreen TV was superb. Book this before it no longer is a secret.

This was our second trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. The home sold & transferred owners right before we were scheduled to arrive. John (new owner) made sure to promptly contact me and made the transition go smooth & painless and kept our reservation intact. My family and I had a great time. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened back deck listening to Mother Nature & some Netflix on the outside tv. Our kids loved hanging out at the pool. The provided beach towels came in handy when we forgot to take ours out of the beach bag to dry one day! We had everything we needed there for a great week. We rented bikes to get around the island, definitely worth the extra cost. This could be a great perk to offer future guests (I’ve seen things like this included on other listings). For me (the guy making the payment), the lagoon 20’ off the back steps was a big selling point. I loved walking out the back door & fishing anytime I wanted to! Beach access within minutes by bike was great too. Hilton Head has something for everyone in the family, but this house brought it all together for us when we just wanted to relax at home. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness only because we found a few things left under beds/furniture when we swept the house for gear left behind before leaving. It was no big deal, just a spoon (could have been my son…), empty aluminum beer can, small candy wrappers and a few puzzle pieces. I was happy to help the next puzzler by finding the pieces! This was no big deal at all considering how hidden these items were. Overall the house was cleaned & sanitized for us. The welcome basket set out for us was great after the long trip. So now I feel bad for mentioning the sofa treasures lol. I would recommend this listing & stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this house. My favorite part was the swing. Very relaxing with the breeze overlooking the water. Alligators visited everyday. When I book a property, I look at the furniture. The furniture not only looked good, it was very nice feeling and comfortable. Extremely pleased. Pool is 4 houses down. Screened in porch, super nice feature. John patiently answered all of my questions regardless of when I emailed or how often. Personally, I didn’t like the proximity to the beach. I’ve gotten older and not a fan of the long walk or balancing beach supplies on a bike. So we drove. Parking is extremely limited and overflow is a hike. It’s about a 10 minute walk. I would recommend renting something to tow behind a bike for your beach gear or buy a wagon. I definitely recommend this property. It’s a beautiful area. Very quiet. The house is clean. Great A/C. Beds are comfortable. Outdoor shower. Excellent experience.

Screened back porch was used almost nonstop and the swing overlooking the lagoon was a perfect place to just sit and ‘gator’ watch. For all that have debated the distance to the beach, from driveway to the bike parking at the beach was 0.75 miles. I’m 5’8”, 54 yrs old and chubby and it took me exactly 16 minutes, walking at a steady pace, not speed walking or sightseeing (for reference) and it’s literally walking through a nice neighborhood and tree covered paved path. Not bad at all. Took just a few minutes on a bike. We loved everything about the house. We look forward to returning soon! It felt like a home away from home! Josh was very responsive and easy to communicate with during our week there. A++

The split bedroom floor plan was nice in that our boys had their area and across the living room, we had ours. We had a sliding glass door to the screened in porch, so I would read out there until I got tired and then go to bed.
