Great location! Quiet, walkable neighborhood near downtown restaurants. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and the place made it even better. We brought our small dog and it was no problem. Ready and Responsive Host.

We came to explore the NE TN tri cities area and decided to use Johnson City as our home base. This spot was perfect for us! After each day of adventuring (hiking, exploring lakes, renting e-bikes, etc., we were able to walk into the down town area for dinner, then post dinner strolls through the historic neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing everyone’s gardens and front porches. The carriage house was comfortable, spotless, quiet and well-appointed. We had everything we needed.

We spent the week hiking along the Appalachian Trail. The house was located close to any number of hiking trails and plenty of great restaurants at the end of the day. Johnson City was a delight. We would strongly recommend the Crooked Carriage House.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was a beautiful place, plenty of room and has everything you need for an extended stay. The best part had to be the location though. It is tucked away into a little neighborhood so it was quiet and quaint. However, it was also walkable to plenty of places that we wanted to see. It had everything we wanted and I would stay there again in the future if I ever make it back there.

This place had so much charm and is located in a great area. We only stayed two nights so weren’t able to explore much, but would love to come back. The beds were very comfortable, host was very responsive, it was super clean and just overall a lovely stay. The carriage house is an older property, but this added to the charm. It was just a perfect place for us! Thank you for the nice touches too!

My husband and I wanted to stay in the "Tree Streets" of Johnson City when visiting our daughter and husband. The Carriage House was in a perfect location. However, all the amenities that were provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The cozy home was perfect for us, and Angela and Pavel thought of everything. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer available, and detergent was included. Snacks, coffee, water bottles were all waiting for us. The furniture was comfortable and the beds and bedding so very clean and new. The towels also were very clean, fluffy and new. We noticed a high chair, baby bath and portable crib tucked away so this place is family friendly.
We will definitely stay here again! Thanks Angela and Pavel for providing this wonderful 'home away from home'.

Our stay exceeded everything we wanted and needed in our Vrbo. Very charming, beautiful, and quiet. I love the old wooden floors, decor, and all updated appliances. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. A must stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you for opening your home and allowing us to have an absolutely wonderfully experience.
Our hosts were very gracious and attentive. If I could give twenty stars we would.

Thank you for providing an excellent place for our stay in Johnson City! We absolutely loved the place and you have clearly thought of every possible amenity and detail for your guests. We really appreciated all the towels, quality, and comfortable bedding. And the cleanliness was spot on, something we really appreciate. We will definitely spread the word about this little place and plan to return again in the near future. It was a perfect location for walking to the various parks, restaurants, brewstilleries :), and the college where our conference took place. Most days we enjoyed the walk down the tree-lined street instead of making the drive in our car.
This is the perfect place for a small family, a girl's getaway, or a romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay and would do it again for a visit into Johnson City.It was clean, well decorated, and comfortable for a family of 4. Appropriately priced relative to size and being a shared property ( they rent both the main house and this cottage we stayed in over the unattached garage.). Hosts were great and very responsive.

The house was cute and clean. We were gone almost all weekend but im the type of person who brings more than necessary just in case we happen to need it. I didnt need anything extra here. The house had everything you may need for a short stay and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with the best appliances. Bathroom had lots of extra towels and extra appliances you may need. The house is in downtown Johnson city which was good because you have lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. Overall, a great stay and would love to stay again.

The Crooked Carriage house is a gem in the Tree Streets! Quaint neighborhood with bakery and restaurants in walking distance. The house is comfortable and has all the amenities needed to relax and make yourself at home! The owner was very responsive to my questions and made the process very easy. Highly recommend!

We really enjoy our stay. The place was clean and everything worked. The bathroom is a bit small for a big guy like me but may be perfect for someone smaller. The place had a unique charm to it. We really did not want to leave and come back to FL. We will rent this place again when we make a trip back there.

The property was great and the host made sure everything was there that we could need. It was a perfect little place to stay. The rest of our family was staying at the main house, so this worked well as our own little space to tuck the kids in at night so we could then rejoin the rest of the family!

We decided to stay here, because it fit our profile of empty nesters pulling into town for a wedding. Looking for clean, affordable, travel and pet friendly. Easy to come and go. Price point matched what time we needed to invest in a place to hold over.

Plug and play instructions from the owners. Very accommodating for what the trip required. The details are provided like tea, chocolate, dog treats, & top end bath towels etc...for guest whom are looking for the " touch" .

My family (parents, 2 kids, Grandma and Great Aunt) were planning to stay at the main house for the story telling festival. My aunt wanted to come a day early and Angela made it possible for her to stay at the carriage house for the one night and the cleaners moved her luggage to the main house so she didn't have to move anything. It has worked out perfectly - thanks!

Beautifully renovated carriage house in an historic neighborhood. We walked to Founders Park and downtown. Dinner at Timber just down the street. Bed was very comfortable. Great stopover on our way home to North Georgia from West Virginia.

This home was perfect! A short walk from a lot of places, but also a short and convenient drive from everything else. Home was just as advertised. Also, whatever gel memory foam pad they have on the beds is *a m a z i n g* and so comfy! Definitely recommend!

This is a great place to stay if you are in the Johnson city area. Close enough to walk downtown and a very safe neighborhood. The host were great and were there when we needed them. This is a place I will stay again.
