We loved the cozy loft, and it had everything we needed to feel right at home from the very beginning. The listing was incredibly accurate, as well as the loft clean and tidy. The hosts were amazing and engaging, and the area was gorgeous. Cannot beat that lakeside dock!

This is a cozy little loft, perfect for romantic trips or getting away on your own. My fiancé and I were visiting family for Christmas, but we also wanted to have some time for us, and this place was perfect! Our host Janet was wonderful and very communicative leading up to our stay and while we were there, she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The views are stunning, hanging out on the dock/lake was very peaceful. The loft was the perfect sanctuary for us during the sometimes hecticness of Christmas and family. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to a friend.

We just stayed to visit with family up the road. Didnt take advantage of the lake or get to meet the host because we were in and out. Everything was clean and setup for comfort.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. It was so peaceful! Everything was so clean and inviting. They were super accommodating and informative on where everything was and what to do. The bed was comfortable. Sitting on the dock was tranquil and floating in the lake with a cold drink in hand is just what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle of life. They even left us the sweetest happy anniversary card. We will definitely be back!

I've rented at Lake Norman 3x now as well as many other places and never did I ever feel so welcomed upon arrival! I fell in love with Lake Norman the 1st 2x but I can honestly say this particular time I found it to be the BEST and not what I had expected as I figured it would be like the 1st 2x. Why? Both Janet and Niles, beautiful people and incredibly accommodating, their home is beautiful, cozy, warm, welcoming, etc. and this particular home/area of Lake Norman was so tranquil that I ended up finding that same peace and tranquility within myself that it was literally transforming! I had no idea this was going to happen and so incredibly grateful that I found not only the perfect stay at Lake Norman but found myself as well and had no clue I was even lost! Perfect for someone solo or any couple as you will walk away feeling renewed, recharged, grateful and reminded that LIFE is beautiful but sometimes all the noise throws us off. I will never forget this vacation (the best) nor Janet or Niles for their wonderful kindness for letting me stay at their home. Fishing, swimming, floats, kayaks, tranquility, warm/cozy, feeling safe, delicious restaurants close by and more importantly how the beauty of nature is transforming and I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again! Thank you Niles and Janet for my favorite and, apparently, well needed getaway! I just got home and the tranquility/peace came home with me. Thank you <3

The vacation rental is the cleanest and most welcoming we have ever stayed in. Everything was at our fingertips and the beautiful lake view and usage of the dock, kayaks, and the ability to fish at any time was more than we could ask for! This was exactly what we needed for our escape from our jobs and a quiet getaway together!! Janet and Niles are wonderful host and are honestly sharing a little piece of Heaven with their guests!! This property is an over the garage loft that is simply wonderful. Everything is immaculate and there are instruction laminates so that you're not left trying to figure things out. The bed was the best VRBO bed I have ever slept in; it is so comfortable! The loveseat and TV area are arranged perfectly! The view from the loft balcony is gorgeous. Adding to the amenities is the neighborhood itself. It is near the end of a secluded little cul de sac, and provides ample opportunities for frequent walks. It's also very close to Lake Norman State Park, which is absolutely beautiful any time of year. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and anytime I return to the Lake Norman area, I will check to see if this little gem is available!!
