Modern, clean efficiency type hotel room with breakfast.

The king suite was incredible! Ms. Sylvia at the front desk was so kind and professional.

Front Desk lady was super nice/ very friendly checking us in at 9:30 at night. Room was spacious and comfortable, clean. Breakfast was delicious, more fruit choices would have been nice and a lighter regular coffee for those who don’t like dark roast or decaf, otherwise Everything was great.

The room layout and spaciousness was lovely, and the kitchenette perfect if we had needed it for a longer stay. I loved the cotton bed cover, and the bed mattress was very comfortable.

Perhaps there was a new cleaning person? The floor had crushed M&M’s on it. The kitchenette can was overflowing with trash. This made me wonder if the room had been cleaned at all.

The room was big and I liked the large format Dove toiletries in the bathroom, so much better than the cheap little bottles at other hotels. Front desk staff was very friendly at check in.

Where do I begin? We only stayed for 1 night but I don't even think I can describe it as "staying" there because we barely slept at all. First, the AC didn't work well. It wouldn't allow us to set a cooler temperature, and when we finally thought we'd figured it out, we were woken up by how hot it was in the room because the AC had turned off. It was 80 degrees and humid outside, and the temp in our room was 75 at times. But then the worst happened, we were woken up just before 6am by a couple in the room next door who was having a screaming fight, slamming doors, hitting the walls, etc. It was not only extremely loud but also very scary. We called the front desk a few times to tell them but it went on for 2 hours before they were eventually kicked out of the hotel. It was scary and awful. We were in town for 1 night for a family event and our day with family was ruined for us because we'd only slept a few hours. I know that this isn't the hotel's fault but they took way too long to do something about it and didn't really acknowledge it with us at any point or apologize when we checked out and told them about our experience. Additionally, the hotel was full and busy but only 1 of the 3 elevators was working. I can see from previous reviews that this has been an issue for a while now. I don't know why they haven't fixed it, but we waited for the elevator for a long time every time we used it. The seal on the shower wasn't good and flooded the bathroom floor, my husband almost slipped and fell on the water when getting out of the shower. Lastly, parking makes no sense. You have to pay $24/night to park in an open lot a block away. There is no security for your car and you can see broken glass in the lot from break-ins. I don't mind paying for parking in a garage where I know my car is safer but this was the same as parking it on the street.

Came for the weekend for the first night of Taylor Swifts Eras Tour in Philly. I loved that this hotel was only 30 minutes away. The room was very clean and updated. So many cafes and bakeries near the location.

Coming in late at night there’d be some men in the lobby that made us feel uncomfortable and there was no one working the lobby to witness. The location of the parking lot was decent, there was one night after I had paid for 2 night parking that almost all of the spots were taken besides 2 that had broken glass, and on one night a man peering into cars. Only one elevator was working (which I know is a maintenance issue) but seeing as there were a lot of travelers for the Taylor Swift concert it got to be annoying waiting for there to be a clear elevator available.

Both the breakfast and the social hours were outstanding! The food was good and the staff was great! The location and the area around were very nice. Everything was very clean, very nice and very accommodating, especially Brittany Caserta! She was beyond helpful, polite, courteous, and extremely personable. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable and will recommend Staybridge Suites in Wilmington primarily because of her. Whatever she's making, she deserves a raise!

The instructions on when and where to park were vague. I ended up with a parking ticket from the city of Wilmington because I parked in an area that I was told would be ok. It was not. As in, $50 of not ok.
