I recently stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Gaithersburg and had an amazing experience. The hotel is fantastic, and I was particularly impressed with the amenities and service provided. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool. My son had an incredible time playing and swimming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing a safe and fun environment for families. The suites were spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, Homewood Suites by Hilton Gaithersburg exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and family-friendly place to stay.

For a place that was built in 1987, there were elements of this that showed, however, there are improvements being made that will make this place a go to again

Very nice hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel room smelled like dog. Closet smelled really awful.

Room was really spacious and they had laundry facility, so I can use washer and dryer.

We were only there for one night and it was extremely nice. Our only issue is that when I booked online, Hotels.com confirmed a booking of a king size bed, accessible room with roll in shower. We only had a tub — more than a one night stay would have been a problem for my husband who is recovering from a spinal cord injury. The desk clerk showed me that the transmission they received from Hotels.com did NOT show that request.

Huge rooms and fully furnished

Everything was superb except for housekeeping. We had to ask three times for towels and wash cloths. There was a leak from the ceiling in our room. Other than that I enjoyed it

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton from 6/18-22, and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of support from the staff during a very difficult time for my family. Our 38-year-old daughter passed away in Maryland, and we had to arrange for last-minute accommodations. Given the time constraints and unexpected expenses, we used Expedia to find reasonably priced hotels. At the time of booking, Expedia offered the lowest price, so we made our reservation through them. After checking in, I looked at the hotel's website and found that their prices for the exact same room were significantly lower than what Expedia charged us. The difference was approximately $20 a day, which could have helped us manage our unexpected expenses better. I approached the hotel staff, explained our situation, and requested if they could honor their lower price instead of the higher Expedia rate. Despite explaining our circumstances, the staff refused to adjust the price. This lack of customer concern and consideration during such a trying time was deeply disappointing. Not only did this refusal add to our financial burden, but it also left us feeling unsupported during a period when compassion and understanding would have been greatly appreciated. Overall, this experience has left a negative impression of both EXPEDIA & Homewood Suites by Hilton. To improve, I suggest that the hotel & EXPEDIA consider being more flexible and understanding in exceptional circumstances.

The bathroom only had three towels and was not clean in our room, there was dust and hair on the countertop ledges. The garbage disposal had stuff in it when we arrived. The coffee bar in the room was not stocked and almost empty.

Perfect room for a family of 6 with full kitchen. Breakfast was good - food options were limited but still enough yo have a good full plate! Pool was clean and staff super friendly!

Convenient location, lg suite, good for families.

The rooms are dark and dingy and not well cleaned at all (dirty light fixtures, crumbs in fridge). The frame of bathroom mirror was broken and there was mold in the shower. And while I'm sure it was an anomaly given time of year there was a significant ant problem in our room and the room next door. We changed hotels after one night but the front desk crew was very understanding and accommodating and refunded their portion of our stay.

I paid for a double bed suite… I was not given the room i reserved and paid for. They told me that i was a guaranteed a room but not room type. Turns out they were booked and because there was an event in the area, overcharged for the room. Refused to refund me the difference and allegedly told expedia they offered a roller bed when they lied and did no such thing!

Very spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor/pool area.

Nice overnight stay

When we arrived at 4:00 (one hour after check in time) our room was not ready. We were told it could be an hour or longer before it was ready. We had a function at Georgetown to attend and needed to change clothes. We were told we could change in public bathroom. Unacceptable.

Outdated with bugs in room

The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Barbara the manager who checked us in. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Huge room! Beds were comfortable but nothing to write home about. Breakfast according to my 21 year old daughter was meh. Overall though for the price it was great. Close to Metro if you have a car to get to Shady Grove (red line). Well positioned relative to restaurants and shopping.

We stay at this location Every time we come to Gaithersburg and it’s ALWAYS A PLEASURE!!! I can’t say Anything Negative!!! Always Clean, Safe, and Quiet!!! Staff is Always Professional!!! My home away from home!!!

I stayed here with my daughter and 2 grandchildren and the room was very spacious. The front desk people were helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was a warm respite from what started out as a tragic VRBO rental experience; however, since there were 5 of us, we requested an extra place setting for meals that we were preparing in the room and, even though the gentleman at the desk took our request, the extra place setting never materialized in our room. This was very disappointing as we only had enough dishes for four of us.
