This stay was booked for a business associate of mine and I filled the paperwork for taking care of the charges, the accommodation was already paid for, I filled a form with my details for the incidentals and reiterated that the guest was not charged for incidentals on checkout, disappointingly the guest was charged on check out. To add further insult to the matter, when the guest was checking out, she advised reception that this was paid for and showed a copy of the form and the staff member did not knew anything about it and said this form means nothing and the charges have not been paid for. The guest was in rush as she had to catch an early flight and this was at 2am in the morning, so did not bother to contact myself or argue with rather uninformed night receptionist and paid leaving embarrassed about the entire situation. I emailed my concerns to the reservations manager to no avail. Needless to say is that I was embarrassed about the whole situation despite all the efforts to get this organised. I am hoping that something will get done about it and someone will actually bother to look into this, as this what I would have expected from a reputable hotel as this.

Central location but not so much around the hotel to do. Only one restaurant in the hotel. Helpful friendly staff

There was no readily available Vallet parking when I arrived and I had to ask for it and wait. Also, the receiving bell men and employees are not very welcoming. Also, a lot of the hotel furniture, amenities and accessories are old and worn out.

When I visit Riyadh on business, I invariably stay at the Sheraton. Call me old-fashioned, but I like staying where people know good service, where everything is as it should be and it's small enough to be navigable. Especially well designed for the business traveler. Not the flashiest hotel in town but arguably the best.

I was upgraded upon check in to a fantastic room on the 6th floor with a city view which had every amenity. When I arrived there was an issue with the heating in my room which was resolved within minutes. Room and bathroom were extremely clean, exceptionally comfortable bed and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and to a very high standard with quality cuts. I ordered room service twice for dinner and was not at all disappointed on either occasion. Hotel staff were all genuinely lovely and helpful. The only gripe and it wasn't enough to put me off in any way was the unreliability of the key card. It kept malfunctioning both in the elevator as well as when trying to open the door to my room. I had a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Decent enough place. one of the two restaurants was closed though so i had to have italian for 8 days (got a bit much and is quite far away from other hotels and places to eat) also the internet was terribly slow, although i've not found a hotel in saudi that has a speed thats usable to be fair.
