We were generally pleased with our stay. However, we caution the front desk to alert guests on check in that they need to swipe the key card to lock the door on exit. We realized the day of check out that the door does not lock automatically and though it is on the key card it was not something we noticed since it is in quite small print. So, consequently we had left our doors unlocked when we were out! Thankfully, we did not lose anything in the room. Also, it turns out the interior dead bolt was also not functioning on our door and we did not think this was an issue since we thought the door automatically locked; we did use the safety latch as a safeguard once inside. One other thing that concerned us is the room temperature; one of us had to remove the duvet cover from the duvet and use only the cover as a blanket or it would have been too hot. Alas, we noticed on the day of checkout, when we were putting the unused duvet back on the bed, that it was quite stained in some areas. So, in such a condition, it should have been switched out for the next guest, not merely have a fresh cover on it. On the whole, housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient and the room and bathroom looked clean. We were very pleased with the location of the property, We also liked the breakfast spread.

It’s a very unique design with numerous areas to sit in and relax. Nice view of the river/canal. The bar and restaurant ambiance is quite nice. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent and extensive.

This reivew is for the two female staffs who I spoke to regarding to the parking around 8pm on 8/6/2024. They gave me wrong information. Provided me only the costly parking ($50 on site/$40 in garage), instead of letting me know I can park on the street for free overnight. I followed their instruction to park and have to drag luggages back for blocks. Only to discover this ridiculous truth. A more sensible man helped me to check in and told me that.

Ended up with a interior courtyard room directly over the reception desk, so it was a bit loud at times. Room was still nice. Restaurant and breakfast we expensive (even more so for Norway). Parking was expensive and bit of a hassel.

Wie hat a pleasant stay. Everybody was helpful. Parking is possible at the hotel garage for a fee.

The property was spacious, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very attentive throughout. Nice bar area with plenty of options for seating and relaxing.

Very good stay. However, it was not perfectly clean. There was a hair on the bed sheets and the leaves un the lobby were dusty.
