I stay at this particular hotel often, as I’m in town for monthly meetings. I’ve always been very pleased with the room and service is excellent (not to mention all of the perks!). I can’t explain it but I knew as soon as I saw the approached the counter, that it wasn’t going to be great I could just feel the energy. I was given a room (that I reserved in advance) based on ‘availability’ that honestly should be turned into a housekeeping room. I went back and told the same person I would be willing to wait. Because another attendant was there coincidentally there were additional rooms available. I believe I was given the 2nd worse room on the property. Conclusion, I prefer consistency so I won’t be back. There are so many other places at the same rate in the vicinity. To be fair, this is the only bad experience I’ve had and all of the others were excellent.

The hotel, to me, was a message of grandeur. There were like 5 people working along side the reception stocking the snacks, taking out the trash receptacle and attending other guests. I didn't know they offered the covered parking lot! And on the floor that you're staying at! Awesome experience overall. Not the first time staying at a Drury, but first at one this fancy.

It's always a pleasure staying at your hotel. We love the cleanliness and location. Great services on room, food and drinks.

Great service and hotel

The only issue I had was that the tub drain was clogged. The tub began to fill up with water because of that. I had to take a very quick shower and when I got out there was a small glob of hair on the drain plug. Probably what was clogging it. Other then that, quiet, really comfortable bed, not bad at all. I would stay here again.

This hotel is so nice, I don’t think I will ever want to stay at anything other than a Drury. You get a wonderful free hot breakfast and then dinner and drinks in the evening. The hotel staff is very friendly and the place is clean. It is noisy due to the freeway right next to it.

I recently traveled to San Antonio for business, and stayed at the Drury Plaza. From check-in until I left, my stay was quiet and comfortable. Jessica at the front desk was really nice, greeting me and getting me checked in quickly. She explained the best place to park in the garage to give me quick access to my room, and was just a welcoming face after my drive. The "kickback" in the evening was quite good, with pulled pork sliders, mac and cheese, and a really nice salad as well. While I was eating, there were people circling the dining room to clear plates and ask if I needed anything else. The room was spacious, with a comfortable sofa and soft, clean bed. I was happy to find that the air conditioner cooled the room well, and I was able to get a quiet night's rest. I highly recommend the Drury Plaza if you have a business trip to San Antonio.

I liked the proximity to the highway, the free daily food (breakfast and dinner), the free daily drink tickets, the suite room (two rooms with two queen beds and a sofa bed), the pool, the garage parking, and overall generosity of the hotel perks. I didn't like the elevators - too small, take too long to call, and they're outdated.

Clean, and has everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay wothout having to leave.
