We were looking to stay at the hotel for quite a long time but the prices were usually very high. This time we had a good discount and went for it. The hotel is not what it looks like from the outside and because of its location. The hotel inside is outdated and needs renovation. The prices do not reflect the hotel interiors, service and rooms. The rooms are comfortable but overall there are many things to be fixed (broken plug in the room, to name an issue). Service, too ( the cups in our room were not clean, most probably left dirty from the previous guests). The breakfast was ok but more towards the unhealthy side.

Good location - close to Central train station, Tivoli, and Stroget. Wonderful breakfast buffet with variety of hot foods and delicious bread. Room was nice sized but was a little chilly. Room service is only on request.

Nice room. Good shower. There was some loud noises at night which I think was the movie theater next door. Like someone was watching a movie with the volume turned up all the way. You could hear the clock chime until midnight. Breakfast was great.

Had a superior room, terrible room, dark, small window into a wall, no water pressure, long distance to elevator/ staires. Booked 3 rooms for a business trip thinking scandic was a safe hotel chain, i will avoid scandic from now on.

Palace is akways a nice place to stay. The breakfast buffet was ace as usual and the hotel is at a perfect location at the Town Hall square just at the top end of Strøget.
Nice room with a very comfortable bed. Trying to get a sleep at mid day on the first day wasn't so easy due to the town hall clock making noise every 15 minutes, but I don't blame the hotel for that and it is part of the price to pay for a central place.
The hotel did make a mistake though, as suddenly there was a birthday present meant for somebody else in my room. I didn't touch the two champagnes and it wasn't really a problem for me, but I suppose the people staying in the room the present was made for may have been somehow less pleased.
I will return to this hotel. And possibly other Scandic hotels knowing this is not the only Scandic hotel with great breakfast buffets included.

The breakfast is not good. Very very few things you can choose from. The hotel is not worth 4 stars. Very untidy and not clean at all. Not enough chairs and space on the lounge area too.

It was the most ideal location--could walk to museums, Rosenborg Castle, & Botanical Gardens ( or easy metro located in plaza across street). Was across street from Tivoli Gardens, & near variety of restaurants. Easy metro to convention ctr ( which has nothing near it so don't stay there). Staff very helpful re: directions, things to do. Good breakfast buffet. Wonderful pillows. Had to request house cleaning daily --that is why not 5 star there. Plaza in front often had musicians/dancing. Very fun.

This hotel is in the perfect location. The rooms and service are great. I recommend this hotel.
I would have preferred if they had offered orange juice at breakfast. They offered other kinds of juices, but not orange juice. Perhaps it is because orange juice is more expensive? I don't know. That's the only thing I would change about this hotel.

Very old building from probably from end of nineteenth century but renovated and clean. Very professional and friendly staff, good breakfast, and my room was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel close to attractions and the shopping area. They gave us our room when we arrived in the morning. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and really good choices. Would be back next time we visit Copenhagen

The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. Convenient to train and metro. Easy to walk to sites. A lot of nearby fast food with litter on the sidewalk.

Best location. Next to city Hall. Across from large square and “Tivoli Garden” Great to walk around, felt safe. Fountains, gardens and many restaurants. Many bicycles. Be careful crossing street. Hotel served Delicious Breakfast. Free chocolates at front desk. Great instructions for activities.

Room was not cleaned properly. Had to ask the staff to clean the bathroom again. Floors in hotel and room had stains on the carpet.

Check-in was a mess because they had given our room to another guest with the same last name and couldn’t find a room for us. The staff initially seemed to think this was our responsibility and they didn’t seem to care if we walked away. Thankfully a manager got involved and fixed things but it took an hour. The hotel air conditioning is terrible so our room was stifling in the hot summer nights. After the second night we asked for a fan, which they provided. That helped make it tolerable. for room to be serviced - they left one bath towel for two guests. When we called the desk for more towels they sent them quickly, but there response was “That sometimes happens during busy season” - really?? Breakfasts were good and all of the other staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We had a good time overall, but it’s hard to recommend this hotel.

The hotel is tired. The decor is grey and gloomy. Our bathroom was ridiculous: a tiny sink that was hidden under the mirror. It was an issue turning on the faucet. The lighting was poor. The door is sliding glass and does not close fully so lack of privacy. The shower is stand alone and is in the room. The floor tile is black tile but is badly stained by soap so looks very unappealing. Extremely poor design. The corridor to our room was half filled with storage racks for towels, etc. We loved the location but were very disappointed with the hotel. 3 stars at best.

Hotel stay was satisfactory. But the reception did not quote correct pricing for the taxi ride to the airport, leading us to suspect we were cheated by the driver.

Was a mixup on rooms and was given someone else’s room. They fixed the issue and gave me a larger room for the mixup. Room was nice but the only issue I had was no charging outlet near the bed. So had to plug and charge on desk from across the room. Had the option for room service daily if I was staying longer than 2 days. Walking distance to train station, and close to several sights.

We loved everything about our stay (minus the shower head, which could use a bit of attention as it made quite a mess). The room was lovely and they made sure we were on the quieter side, knowing Pride activities would be happening right outside their doorstep. Wouod absolutely stay here again. Also, the breakfast buffet options were expansive and delicious.

Great location in the middle of everything! The room was a bit dated but the staff is very friendly and always offering to help. The buffet breakfast, which was included in the room cost, was also excellent.

The staff were wonderful, the location was great. However there was a celebration going on in front of the hotel for a week and they were very loud until midnight. Also a bell tower close by that chimed every 15 minutes!!

A hotel with lots of history- Audrey Hepburn and Laurel & Hardy amomg previous guests. Spacious, both the public rooms and the bedrooms, Comfy beds. Very friendly, helpful staff

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. A great location, near everything! A very small thing, majority of hotels have a pen or pencil with a small writing pad, this was not in our room. The combination of shampoo and body wash in the same container was a bit strange and I felt like they were trying to save money by not providing both. But overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

You can't beat the location. We walked to everything. The rooms were ok but had some issues. The bathroom door didn't close. We asked for it to be fixed and it never was.

Great Location right opposite Tivoli and around the cornwr from the main shopping street. Facilities were good, bed good, though not a fan of the waterfall shower heads and hand held shower head hung low and could not be used as a wall shower.

It's in a historical building right in front of the town hall. We had a nice view and the room was very roomy and pleasant.

We enjoyed overlooking the square and our spacious room (we were offered an upgrade at check in for an additional fee). All the staff were courteous and helpful. Excellent breakfast each morning with a lot of options. One evening there was loud music playing into the early hours of the morning. Front desk staff were responsive and assured us they would take action. The music was coming from outside the hotel. A short time later it was turned down or off and we easily fell back to sleep. Comfortable bed and a nicely laid out bathroom with everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay! We would not hesitate to return.
