Charming. Converted from an old brewery. My wing felt like a mini villa, with greenhouse plants in and a water feature. Buffet breakfast is rich with an outstanding selection of meats, carbs, dairy, and fruits.

I liked the location and the details in the property. On the other hand, the room didn't seem that clean, there was a smell like of being old and not ventilated and the bathroom was outdated with not much water pressure. The indoor pool was small and had cold water so it was neither for swimming nor relaxing.

Place was great. Located perfectly within the fort walls of Visby. Able to walk to most everything. You can rent bikes also from them. Staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful.

The staff at breakfast was very helpful. Check in and check out was quickly handled. The room is not big but rather clean and comfy. AC worked quite well. Location is truly great, close to all things in need. Family friendly in general.

Great value hotel right in the centre of the town. The steam room, sauna, and little pool are a nice perk and the two electric car charging places in the included parking make life easier in the historic area of Visby.
It seems to do the two beds pushed together instead of a double in most rooms though.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back home after a week on Gotland. It’s located near the south wall and you can park just outside the wall or use one of the few parking spot at the hotel parking. Call them to reserve a spot. There is a indoor pool and gym which we did not use. We took a drink at the roof bar which have a lovely view.I’m a bit disappointed on the staff we met in the reception and in the roof bar, they was not that friendly that you would expect. I hope we just had bad luck, but it’s lowering the points on the review

Nice hotel, in former old brewery. Everything you require, as well as a small pool and sauna area. There is also complimentary tea and coffee in the foyer, very nice touch. It is close to the shore and right in the middle of the old town of Visby, inside the famous Wall.

this was my third trip to visby, first stay at the B/W strand - really ideal location, easy access to everything of interest in the town, comfortable, quiet and a very good breakfast included - not only would i recommend the strand to others, i would stay there again myself - staff very helpful with both restaurant and shopping recommendations, everyone also spoke english quite well (as my few words of swedish and comprehension are very poor) - all in all, exactly what i needed for the weekend of visbys christmas market

The room we had was on the ground floor of the hotel and was right on the street. Since there was no Air conditioning in the room we had no choice but to open the windows which was another disaster not only because of the noise that made our sleep impossible but also for the loss of privacy. Street walkers were peeping in to our room.
