There were no cups or coffee but there was a coffee pot. The furniture that held the tv and fridge was broken and we couldn’t access the fridge. No tv guide. I mean just knowing what each channel is would have saved 20 minutes of surfing.

Enjoyed the patio/ porch area. Room was nice and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Will stay again in the future

We got there at 4:30 pm and was told our room was not ready. We did not wait for our room to be ready because we had been driving all day and were ready to relax. The manager told us he had all of his cleaning staff call in and we would have to wait for our room to be cleaned.Hotel check in is at 3 pm and our room should had been ready.

The owners are new and remodeling but the place is clean and quiet. The owners went out of the their way to make our stay enjoyable. It was extremely affordable. We will for sure stay again when we come back for Strugis week. Thank you for an amazing stay

Key to get on our room would not unlock the door played with it manager come up. He couldn’t get it open then finally we got it open and said there you go next morning tried to get out couldn’t open. The door took 15 minutes to open the door to get out, not good at all

This property is perfect for people who like me are low maintenance however if you happen to be somebody that is more of a five star fine dining kinda person don’t recommend stayin here . I also love that it is LGBTQ safe and the people that manage it are very welcoming and kind . All in all was a nice place to stay for the night

Not a good place and terrible service. Nobody was there when needed after a certain hour and nobody answered the phone that was listed

Hotel was cute enough and staff was wonderful - but there was a computer issue and couldn’t check in right away and rate was higher than we booked. Chris refunded the difference, recommended a delicious Mexican restaurant which we ate at and waited for his call our room was ready.
Comfortable beds, parking in front of room and clean bathroom.

When we arrived we were told the management had just quit, the lobby was dirty and filled with clutter. The building had several broken windoes, the paint was peeling and the outdoor stairs were in bad shape. The room itself was clean, but the A/C unit had not been turned on and it was a hot day.

I’ve stayed in a lot of motels/budget hotels. This is by FAR the best one I’ve stayed in. Management was incredibly kind and welcoming, gave us recommendations of where to go for food and drinks, etc. They also had a grill, charcoal, and utensils so we were able to cook for the first time in over a week. AMAZING location of less than 10 min walk from downtown. Cannot recommend enough!!

New owners, who were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Property was undergoing major renovations. Room we stayed in was quiet, clean and well stocked. Can't wait to visit again after the remodel!!

This place is definitely very nice, and has super friendly staff! They’re under new management and working on making the place a lot better and nicer, so would love to come back here when it’s all finished!

I see they are in the process of remodeling and that’s good . Things are a little in disarray . The toilet in my room did not flush properly and needs some attention . It looks to me like they will be improving the place a fare amount .

New owners very nice, doing their best to bring the rooms up to their standards. Unique summer space with tables/ chairs and space to BBQ. Very relaxing in this fun/clean town, Spearfish.

The property is being remodeled, but the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The walls are thin. Might have discovered a little too much about our neighbor in the next room. It will be really nice when its finished.

The first room we were assigned had a malfunctioning air conditioner. The second room had a mattress that was way too soft (and I like a soft bed) and it was a queen instead of a king. The sink and the toilet/shower were in separate rooms on both sides of the dresser. The promised coffee and rolls were not available until we had decided to check out about 8:30 a.m. The wooden steps were not sturdy and parking was not available near all the rooms which had outside entrances.

Provided no drinking cups or glasses whatsoever. Rooms were really warm and humid with inaccessible temperature control. Did not feel safe opening windows. Breakfast ok. Would have been nice if foyer was open in evening. Check in was unusual but worked. Location was the only thing going for it. Whole property was rundown

My only complaint is that there were no glasses or Kleenex available. Also one set of towels is not enough for a 3 day stay

No Host on site to check in with. Lobby was locked. Had to call a number to get code for lockbox for keys. Property in poor condition. Our front door was rotted out. I never once saw a maid or staff member.

It was a horrible experience for the moment we showed up. They didn’t give us the room we had paid for online. We didn’t have enough beds for our family. The heat was broken so the room was freezing. Would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone
