Wow was my reaction on entering my hotel room. I actually thought they'd be knocking on my door to tell me they'd made a mistake. This was 5 star luxury in a huge room with comfortable sofa and kingsize bed. I was staying because my cruise was delayed. I joked that I could give up my cruise and stay here for 2 weeks :)

I cannot say enough about this hotel. It is pricey but it is very much worth it. The rooms were well laid out and the beds were so comfortable. Having a deep bathtub as well as a separate shower was awesome, as I like a good soak before bed. The breakfast was fantastic, with anything from asian dumplings to fresh fruits, at least 15 kinds of breads and pastries and endless supplies of Iberian ham and cheeses. Cappacinos were excellent. The hotel location is wonderful, in a quiet and safe neighborhood within walking distance of both the Miro Museum and the Catalan Art Museum as well as amazing gardens that have a wonderful variety of plants and cacti. I could go on and on but.....

Amazing stay from beginning to end. The check in was smooth and easy, the room was gorgeous and luxurious. The roof top was beautiful and so vibey with the DJ and lights. Would 10/10 recommend!

Great place to stay. It is a little far from the sights ( although right next to Montjuic which we were happy about). Room was beautiful, staff was excellent. Rooftop pool and view is outstanding! Overall we were very happy we stayed at the Intercontinental and would consider staying there again. 5 stars!

I’ll be honest. We were exhausted after an eight day cruise and we were ready for our rest day at the Intercontinental. This is an extremely five star accommodation and the staff exceeded expectations. The facility was modern and accessible. Sr. Elber went above and beyond for any of our needs.
