Comfortable stay. Night desk staff were a little nosy but otherwise a good stay

It was under renovation during our stay but our room was already complete and it was amazing. The renovations are beautiful!

Smell bad

Check in was great. However, our air conditioner quit working and we were roasting at 2 am. We called the front desk and the guy said that someone would look at it. So we dressed and waited. Nothing. 20 minutes later my husband called again. This time they gave us another room. That was the only issue. The rooms were recently remodeled, everything was clean. The bed wasnt terribly uncomfortable. It just sucked that we had to switch rooms at 2 am.

I was a little nervous after reading widely differing reviews online. The hotel was under construction but everything was neat and clean. We were given a remodeled room, which was lovely and very clean. The bed was so comfortable! The soaker tub was great, although a little difficult for senior citizens to get into and out of. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful! Well be back!

The property is undergoing renovations. The work is being done during the day so it didn't affect me. The room I was in had been renovated. They did a good job.

The bath tub didn't have any safety grips on the bottom Very slick when taking a bath or shower. The tiles on the bathroom floor popped when you walked on the them Were not secure. The was no channel listing for the tv.

It was a great place to spend a couple of nights.

My daughter and I stayed here for a 3 day softball tournament at blue Valley. Upon pulling up, parking was very limited due to construction (big metal containers in parking spots). Our room was on the 1st floor, when opening the door this nasty smell just hit you. We sprayed odor eliminator but the smell stayed. Was a smell I couldn't recognize but very displeasing. Every time you walked into the room you had to brace yourself for it. We had a beautiful view of a pond behind the hotel, couldn't open the windows due to huge rip in the screen and many large spider's that became our entertainment in the evening. After the second night, I did notice 3 small bites on my neck ( right). Thought maybe mosquitos but here it is 5 days later and I still have them and they still itch. Upon arriving we did check the room for bugs but didn't see any signs. Still when getting home nothing came in my house until it went through the washer. My daughter and I stripped and showered immediately. Besides a few other hiccups like lack of lighting at the bathroom vanity, food and dirt all over the rug it was an Okay stay. Would I recommend it, never. Would I stay again, never.

Place was old and under renovation.

The hotel was HOT and had a very strong unpleasant food smell in the halls & lobby. The room was warm, humid & smelled strong of mildew. The bathroom area where the shower & toilet are, is in horrible shape. This hotel used to be a Fairfield Inn by Marriott and it’s sad to see the decline it has taken under new ownership.

The hotel was nice but the bathroom floor was a little dirty. There was no black tea for breakfast but the breakfast included nice yogurt.

Noisey bathroom fan , older rooms need update

A bit noisy in the front of the building but overall a pleasant experience.

Outdate. Mattress are old and too soft. Door to bathroom didn’t closed. Tile in bathroom old, toilet short, shower water slow to drain, Towels old. Breakfast was good.

Room seemed to be clean. Bathroom floor appeared to have never been cleaned. Hotel entrance was dirty as were halls and elevator. We had a single room but it had an adjoining door- we could hear every sound the people made next door- the crying child, the parents talking. It was horrible. For 205.00 a night it was bad.

The hotel was under construction and it was dusty dirty. We had flying nats in our room and we didnt have any food in tge room

Walls we're poorly insulated. Could hear the next door's neighbors loud TV up to 3:00 a.m. the next morning the noise in the hallway was also quite loud. The elevator had the wallpaper hold off at it in separate places and it looked very tacky.

Horrible service, very strong smell mildew odor to be exact, DIRTY Room and shower curtain was just unbelievable it was so gross just nasty!! The bed sheets had BLOOD stains on them, asked for a new room said they didnt have any rooms, asked for new sheets and front desk lady had an attitude. Did not stay there not even 5 mins got my stuff and left to a different hotel, but before I Asked for my refund at the front desk and they said to contact expedia, I asked for a receipt they wouldn't give it to me & I asked once again and finally they gave me a copy in a very rude manner. Expedia contacted them afterwards they didnt reply. In all I received a horrible service from both expedia and comfort inn hotel. Do not book here stay away!!!

The grounds around the hotel are littered with garbage. There is construction equipment at one end of the parking lot so the door on that end was unusable. The first room we were given smelled like urine….probably a dog. We got a new room and it was fine. When I walked my dog at night there were some guys partying in the parking lot. I mentioned it to the clerk but nothing happened.

It was a good stay. Clean room. Nice bed. Good breakfast. Staff was friendly at front desk and asked how our stay was when leaving which I liked. Only negative, highway noise, bring earplugs.

It’s was a 50/50 on if my room key was going to work. Shower had issues. Common areas had a weird smell.

Construction happening in the morning/day, incredibly loud neighbors and paper-thin walls at night. Red and black mold in shower. I brought the employee in to listen and view; he was appalled. Said he'd fix it and also fix it on credit card. Did neither. No option to go elsewhere due to graduations in the area. Parking and pool areas were also impacted by the construction materials. I'd have let it go and bought supplies to clean and earplugs had they remedied the bill as agreed but they refused. (Including a photo of the black mold for proof, wish I had a sound machine to include that but do have video of it)
