Beds were clear.. no bedbugs, mattresses had protectors on them, lamp shades were stained, blackout curtains were stained and TORN, carpet was new. There was thermostat on the wall but not connected to anything and the ac/heat unit was EXCESSIVELY noisy and did not work properly. The hotel had an overwhelming “air freshener” scent from the lobby into the elevators and in every hallway. Rooms are not very soundproof, we could hear people all night long coming and going, and doors slamming shut..The hot tub was scary looking I THINK they TRIED to paint over the old blue concrete with some sort of brown speckle paint, not sure, but it didn’t look like something we wanted to get in. BEST thing going for this hotel is the breakfast. Decent little breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and the rest of what you would normally find at a continental hotel breakfast.

Always smells amazing and staff is welcoming at the desk. Bathrooms are very tiny, difficult for larger adults. Shower is small and tight. No microwave in room but in the lobby. A little inconvenient if on a higher floor.
Did have an issue with final amount at check out since I booked through a third party, hotels.com.

Great location but room had an odor which mostly likely is due to carpet in rooms. Bathroom shower could be updated especially swing out door where water drips onto the floor and you have to use several towels to keep the water from leaking onto the floor Breakfast buffet was the same everyday with no change in food.

Kim was WONDERFUL! She assisted in checking me in when i had an issue with my booking online! Kim was very knowledgeable and went about and beyond to make sure my stay was good. The hotel was clean, as well as the pool area and there were various choices for breakfast options.

The general manager anna rogers lied right in my face telling she would refund one stay because i had to check up a day early because of death in the family.

We had a good time - this hotel was close to everything we needed including Broadway, Sports centers and museums and the beach! The only concern we had was the smell in the room which smelled like mold/mildew/dampness. We bought spray and plug ins and it didn’t do much. We suffered through but I wouldn’t stay here again for fear all of the rooms may be this way. The hallways and lobby smells great, I believe it is select rooms.

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the uncomfortable bedding. We found clothing from previous patrons left behind which is a giveaway that the room was not thoroughly cleaned and inspected. My family and I had to deal with the stench of urine and mold due to the condensation from the A/C unit. You could tell that the floors had not been vacuumed. There was a completely different carpet smell in the main hallway which I could tell had been treated and vaccumed. The toilet was dirty along with the bathroom in general. We didnt have enough enough tissue and household necessities such as trash bags. Overall, it is bad enough that we paid a heafty price and were not anywhere near the beach. I guess it is because Broadway is across the street. Will never stay there again.

Room was clean....hotel was clean....Ladies at the front desk were too busy having their own conversation and checking their phones to even notice me or speak for about 2-3 minutes. Bathroom had no tub...just a handicapped accessible shower stall with a removable water head...not very slanted toward the drain....water pretty much all over the floor when you're done. Average, but clean hotel for the price.

Had to move rooms because of the smell,and the 2nd room also smelled but didn’t want to move again. The shower door wouldn’t close and the toilet broke out 2nd night there.

The pictures online did not match what the rooms looked like. It also had a funky smell in the room. The carpet was stamped, and I am pretty sure that the smell is coming from the carpet. The person checking in, was not very friendly and appeared to be upset that she was there.

Property was very nice staff was not so nice. My room has a rattle in the a/c and the shower door did not shut correctly so water just went everywhere. When i brought this to the attention of the front desk,i was told they we completely sold out and there was nothing they could do. There were only about 30 cars in the parking lot and it was on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Not a chance they were sold out. At 200.00 a night I would have expected better
