That place was so clean and i will be coming back

Bathroom cleanliness was poor. Found an old set dentures between bed and night stand and the mattresses had divots on the sides and mounds in the middle. Front desk service was pleasant

great overnight stay since i travel for work

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was less than friendly, often demanding to see certain items rather than politely asking. We felt unwelcome from the start, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. The lobby had a strong smell of marijuana, which was off-putting, and when we were handed our room key, the staff member didn't even inform us of our room number. The elevator was dirty, with graffiti on the buttons and the same unpleasant smell lingering inside. Although the room itself was clean, we couldn't maintain a comfortable temperature. It was either too hot or too cold, and the traffic noise was very noticeable due to poor sound insulation. To top it off, the morning staff was rude when we asked about breakfast options, making us feel even more unwelcome. With so many other hotels in the area, I would strongly recommend exploring other options. Overall, this was just a bad experience, and I won’t be returning.

The front desk person was very nice. The hallways reeked of weed. The carpet in our room had stains all over it and the room smelled like mushrooms. If you stay here ask for the top floor, because you can hear every step the people above you make. You could see through the cracks in the door, so it was loud and the smell came into the room.

Sonji was very personable and helpful. I had my dog with me and he assisted me with items I had to bring inside. Good conversation and a nice, friendly guy. Only issue was that microwave nor the phone were working in the room. The room was otherwise very comfortable, quiet, clean and sanitary. I requested a hair dryer and initally there was none available. However, within the hour, one was delivered to my room. I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman at the desk upon checkout, but he, too, was nice and friendly. Btw, this property was formerly a Marriott, so I had an upscale stay on a Red Roof budget! I definitely recommend and will be back whenever I visit my hometown, the Bull City!

The hotel is old and dirty. The toilet ran constantly. Lots of noise - doors banging g and people yelling in the parking lot. The police was actually called one of the days. Would never stay at that property again or recommend to anyone to stay there.

The hotel is dated and could use a remodel to the rooms. The carpet is very worn and in rough condition. The couch was scary. We didn’t sit on it. Bed was comfortable enough. The pillows need to be replaced. Not enough toilet paper. No lotion in the room. There was yelling and fighting outside in the parking lot every night which disturbed sleep. Will not stay there again.

I tossed and turned all night. I thought my allergy was flaring up, coughing and sneezing throughout the night. I woke up took a shower and opened the curtains only to glance over at the air-conditioned unit. It was covered with Black mold, along with the curtain and the side of the desk that was in from of it. I have a upper respiratory condition that was obviously affected.

I have stayed here quit few times but this was by far my worst stay at a hotel. Ac would not cool room. It reeked of pot. The matress was worn out completely. I left my head phones on the bed. Went back to get them after my appt. 3 hrs later and the room was cleaned and my headphones were gone and not turned into lost and found. Im very disappointed and will be taking my business somewhere else. I stay here like 6 plus times a year. Person at front desk did take my number and let me look in room. It was a 75.00 pair of head phones. Hope they enjoy them they were new.

There was so much I enjoyed about this property. It was clean, the towels were soft, the room was clean. The shower was older (not like in the pics) but the water was good and hot when needed. I had no issues. It was quiet and easy.

Staff that checked us in was high and smelled like weed. Hallways and entire hotel smelled like weed. Not something I was expecting hopefully it gets looked into soon it was beyond just a little smell

You get what you pay for but in this case the manager went the extra mile by upgrading me to a cleaner, safer room. It could use a facelift but expect higher prices if it does. Wish it offered breakfast like the other locations. I don’t plan to stay again because of the property next to the hotel. It seems to be homeless people that drink and smoke a lot in the woods. They come at night! I pray for them!

Property and rooms are very nice

We chose this property as a place to stay on our way back home from Oregon as I wanted a place to hang out outside in private. Sanjay made sure I received the room I’d requested that included a balcony. He was very helpful during check in! Our room is perfect aside from a stale cigarette smoke smell. Otherwise the hotel is spotless and clean beyond our expectations!

The front manager was nice. He didn’t tell us his name. He only told us he has five daughters. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The pillows were flimsy. There was hair on the bathroom floor that was not mine. Smell very musty every time we came back into the room. To get into the exercise room, the key card didn’t work. You had to go to the front desk. To get into the gym. They could’ve updated this soap dispensary. As you will see our pictures they could’ve done something better with the toilet bowl lid. if you’re looking for a place for breakfast, do not stay here. Only thing they have was coffee with no flavor creamer. The outside landscaping was clean. And the workers who worked behind the desk were very friendly. The hotel is close to the freeway. And places to shop and eat were very close.

Cleaners could do a better job.

Its a hotel on the cheaper side. Surrounding area not the hotel seamed trashy. Elevators stunk. Older building. First room's thermostat and A/C unit was inoperative, which was taken care of by giving me an upgrade. The second room had a slight smell like burnt popcorn, but was not to offensive. A cigarette burn in the drape. A dead wasp on the floor. And when i went to take a shower the water had a brown tint to it. The staff were very friendly.

Our overall stay was excellent thanks to the staff. Everyone was very kind, helpful and professional. In our initial room the bathroom had small mold in the ceiling and a light out in the hall. The front desk apologized and promptly upgraded our room to a larger room. The tv in the upgraded room screen went out, maintenance came right away and replaced it. Resolving our issue. Staff was very friendly and accommodating our entire stay.

People were nice. Bathroom shower rod was broken, light switch was installed so crooked , it was obvious no one overseeing the work Ever looked at it. Otherwise, it was ok.

Have stayed here a few times, staff was always excellent. This time, hotel had a water main break, had to change hotels. Staff did a great time with new accomodations. I'll be back when I need to stay in Durham....

I like that they have patios and balconies. Large shower and hygiene supplies. Cheap prices but you end up getting what you don’t pay for! Don’t like all the marijuana smells and clientele allowed in.

Excellent & Priced Right! I have paid more for a lot less. This is a Great Pace! The Staff Fantastic!

Exceptional Management & Staff! Super Clean! Has a Pool too!

Close to the airport thats a plus.
