I thought this hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The things that I did not like about this property is that I received a room right next to elevator bay and could not sleep at night or in the morning with people, loudly talking and hearing the elevator chime every time someone pushed it, or got off the floor. I am a rewards member at this hotel, and was a little upset that they would place me in this type of room. I am very loyal to the Marriott brand so it was disappointing. I felt the valet parking was extremely expensive and $50 per day and that the parking garages around the area were a little bit of a distance having to carry luggage. Just stayed one night to attend a concert. Everything was very good from arrival to departure. Very clean, friendly staff, good food and convenient. Made to order breakfast before hitting the road to head home was excellent.

Easy acces to Riverwalk, which provides walkable dining and entertainment options.

Housekeeping was very late in making up our room despite our request for prompt housekeeping service.

We really enjoyed our stay and already booked our next visit. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated in downtown within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Our room had a balcony and the view was excellent.

Absolutely had a great birthday weekend !! it was amazing from the hotel and the staff and the restaurant's where incredible Coming back in December for a lighting game and this time staying 3 days!! Thank you for making my 60th birthday just perfect and rememberable!!! already booked my stay in December now just the tickets!! great start for the Christmas holiday!!

this is by far one of the best hotels I have had the opportunity to stay at, super clean, the staff was great, and it was walking to distance to many places.

The location and amenities were wonderful. All of the staff that we interacted with were courteous and helpful. After one time of speaking with them they remembered our names and our preferences. Shawn was by far my wife’s favorite bartender. He went out of his way to help her to decide what she wanted to order and 4 hours later still remembered her and her order.

This property was amazing! It was beautifully designed and the service was exceptional. Our ajoined room with balcony was outstanding. So many things to do and see within walking distances. Can't wait to go back in October for our anniversary. Definitely 10/10

Convenient and beautiful.

The Marriott at Water St has been my first choice of hotels in Tampa for years. They were very helpful in extending our stay in March of 2020, at the outset of the pandemic. Special shout out to Luz at Lona restaurant for being an outstanding waitress, a credit to the hotel and an all around lovely person.

I chose the hotel due to its proximity to the Convention Center. The lovely lady who checked us in was fantastic. I believe her name was Olen or something similar and she Eastern European. Unfortunately, she was the only employee I encountered with customer service skills. But first, the good. Hotel was clean, staff attentive, steak I had at the fine was delicious. Room was simple but clean. I was surprised to learn there were internet fees. Most hotels include internet for free. What really stood out though was the poor customer service. It’s free and can put you over the top. Had to wedge a towel along base of door to reduce noise. People were very loud. Pool was nice although the guy working the pool bar was rude. Talking to me with his back to me, no eye contact, very unprofessional. Will probably not go back!!
