When we got there the desk clerk was sound asleep. I was banging on the desk ,yelling for about 5 minutes before he woke up.the side door to the parking lot was open it was stuck open .so anyone could walk in.The place had this not so clean smell to it.the breakfast was trash..

Horrible place, dirty, and smells like weed and cigarettes

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel! The room was clean and the common areas were too! House keeping was mopping the hallways & elevator… very clean. Also maintenance was taking care of the trash and friendly ..No frills but a decent place to stay.. close to casinos and shopping. I have stayed there before and will again!

Great location, convenient to Route 95, Groton and New London. The hotel needs some TLC—a better couch to replace the beat up one in the checkin area, touch up paint. But a good bargain.

Safe and no bedbugs, older place that used to allow smoking in rooms so there are burns all over the carpets, drapes, and mattresses. Fine for a quick overnight stay on a road trip, wouldn’t book for a week’s vacation.

Never again, building is dilapidated and smelt of smoke. Rooms unfinished with paint patches. Bedding covers as well as carpet had cigarette burns all over. Breakfast area was disgusting and filthy. Everything was absolutely awful!

The room was clean, but nothing worked when we walked in. It was fine for a night or two. Not worth the cheap price. I would have rather paid more for a better kept location. DO NOT BOOK.

Not the cleanest place but ok for the money

Building is old. Restroom door was broken and did not close. Wall pieces were falling off. Very strong cigarette smell. 1 out of 3 lamps work. Elevator was very dirty. Vending machin prices where incorect. Breakfast area was very dirty. Expired items on breakfast area. Everything was bad.

I wasn't expecting a lot as this hotel was just a base for a local convention I was attending. Unfortunately, it was worse than expected. The breakfast was waffles from a waffle maker that was constantly broken and never cleaned. For my room, I could accept the cracked sink, broken phone, stained walls etc. however, the whole floor of the hotel smelled like smoke (I'm sure nobody is enforcing the no smoking rules). In my room, if I turned on the AC, a sickly smoky smell enveloped the room. I left my room every day with clothes and hair reeking of smoke. I would never recommend any Super 8 after this experience

My daughter wanted to leave the property and go stay somewhere else but we toughed it out. It was very cheap so you get what you pay for. Not the worst place I've stayed in but it was annoying smelling cigarette smoke coming through the vents because they just let people smoke in the hotel. That was my biggest gripe. Probably spend a little bit more and get a nicer place.

Appearance and atmosphere was so bad that we did not stay

I was thinking of finding someplace else when we walked in. The place reeked of weed, the surrounding area needed a gardener or just someone to take care of the grounds. The facility needs a good updating.

There was hair in bathroom sink. Rug was coming up. Mattress sunk on the middle. Only stayyone night. TV screen was blurred. Discussing

Worse experience ever would not recommend this hotel… our room door left a crack when it was shut, our bathroom couldn’t close or it would get stuck, we only had 1 remote for our tv so only the bed room tv could b used not the living room, bathroom didn’t look like it got cleaned had to clean it myself. Worse of all elevator smelled like urine and when we got back to the hotel on our last night we saw a man in the hall way urinating on the stairs. Also staff cancelled my room key and made a new key for someone who wasn’t under the room name to which they didn’t check their ID, the person just gave the room name. Luckily it was my boyfriend’s friend not a stranger but still something could have happened if it was a stranger. When I confronted the front desk lady she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and when I brought my boyfriend friend over for proof all she could say was oh. Smh I suggest don’t go to this hotel u will regret it even breakfast was bad coffee orange juice n apple juice watered down n waffle mix runs out with in 15-30 min of breakfast and staff wouldn’t refill so after 630am ur breakfast would b just drinks smh NEVER AGAIN

Place is in remodel mode so it’s a loaded gun with what room you get. People are super nice. But the place honestly is getting overhauled.

My stay was amazing but my shower looked like there was soap stuck to the walls and shelves. Some of the furniture looked like it needed to be replaced. And the lobby looked a little messy. The staff were nice however they weren't always available at the front counter. My room looked like it was falling apart a little bit. Overall I would say my stay there was MID at best.

The room smelled funny, a mix of mold and cigarette smoke. The bed comforter had a tear in it that resembled a cigarette burn and the carpet was damp in spots.
