Excellent hotel near Marina

The hotel was very dated definitely not a 4 star and very noises when people are going to there rooms.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were very helpful, we requested to move rooms as ours was next to the service lifts so quite noisy during the night. Breakfast was lovely, lots of variety and the hotel is reasonably priced. Hotel is also in a great location for the marina. Id recommend not to bother with booking a transfer from airport to hotel as you can easily get an uber for ~€20.

Good location within walking distance of Marina and beach. Hotel lifts are really old and not for the faint hearted. Hotel is a little dated. Perfect for groups.

Lovely clean comfortable hotel in a convenient location. Staff were welcoming and polite - good breakfast too! Probably would not return especially in May as guests consisted of large noisy groups who didn’t seem to consider anyone else! Unacceptable noise levels and bad language continued into early hours.

Our stay at the hotel and Vilamoura was excellent with friendly staff, facilities such as swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Lovely marina area with spoil for choice for food, sandy beaches, boat ride. Boat ride to see dolphins and caves as well as parasailing.

Location was good as a short walk to the shops and marina. Entrance area is also the hotel bar which lacked any atmosphere. On arrival there was entertainment and only 2 guests seated there. Very drab and uninviting. I had requested a double room and we had 2 single dressed beds pushed together. Not sure if this is the norm but I would still consider that a twin room. View from balcony was great as we were on the top floor. The pool area looked nice but we didn’t use it during our stay. In shade for some of the time due to the U shape of the hotel. The bathroom lacked a shelf as we had to store everything around the sink. No place to store shampoo etc in the shower space either. Bathroom could do with maintenance as toilet seat was broken as was the flush button. Would I stay here again? Possibly but I would look at their sister hotel, Ampalius close by first. Just felt the Marina hotel lacked something. It just didn’t feel very inviting.

Hotel was in a good location however a few things let this hotel down. The bathroom facilities were not great. The walkin shower didnt drain the water away quickly so ended up filling up and overflowing. Also the toilet splashed water onto the bathroom floor every time it flushed so had to use a towel to mop this up. Also, there were a couple of stag dos during our stay which were pretty raucous. Booked the hotel based on it advertising as a family and couples hotel, didnt expect large groups of stags too! Felt like a Club 18-30 at times!

The hotel is very close to all of the shops and restaurants. It was very clean and all of the amenities were to a high standard.The hotel was very busy but the staff worked herd to keep everything running smoothly

Hotel is old, would benefit from renovations, particularly in the lobby. Overall service could improve: check-in, restaurant, bar, etc.

The hotel decor is very dated. Clean but dated. Glass rpuns the polz every day at least 1 smashed glass, needs to be clea er and plastic glasses. Bathroom stunk of urine in our bedroom. Worst smell. Also the shower did not point out enoough so it was hard to get under it properly as the bravket was loose and could not be repositioned.

Hotel was clean, location perfect. Breakfast was good, staff helpful. Hotel a litle bit dated but no problems! Would stay again

This was such a nice hotel, pool area was lovely (but could do with music by the pool), we were in 9th floor overlooking pool and marina, wow the view was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and location is amazing, highly recommend and I will defo return.

The bed option was 2 twin beds pushed together, which was not comfortable for us as a couple.Otherwise was a very nice hotel with a great breakfast, friendly staff, clean facilities and nice location in Vilamoura. This is a more commercial, modern, developed resort area of Algarve than some of the surrounding small towns.
