The content on the listing is untrue. Do not expect a king bed or panoramic views. We had two singles pushed together and a view of a hedge and a staircase. Simply not worth the price. Furthermore our bedding had a decent amount of old dried blood in it and was not cleaned off from a previous guest. Very gross and off putting. I would not recommend.

Hotel lacks trained staff. Could not answer basic questions including: how to turn off heated floor in the summer, room service hours… Plumbing stopped working for several hours as pipe burst on property. While resolved in several hours, there was no communications that issue had occurred… Keys stopped working and staff criticized us… No air conditioning in rooms and the fans provided on request were delivered by staff who confirmed most of the fans do not work. Rooms need refurb which is scheduled for sometime in the future… Food was good on property. First day of stay was a writeoff due to problems and we had two rooms… management was approached on a make good … offer was extremely low for the issues but accepted to resolve and move on… The property is nice for layout and landscaping… but recommend avoiding this property until they finish refurbishment and have better trained staff that they no longer need to make excuses for…

Millbrook is golfers' heaven, but also a romantic or weekend getaway. The property is owned by a Japanese family, exceptionally clean and incredibly kept. The staff is friendly and very service oriented. The Spa facilities are top notch. The F&B is the only department with some room for an improvement. The breakfast is only a buffet, no option for a-la-cart. The other place opens at 8am and has very little healthy options. Their fine dining is okay, but it was so cold that majority of the guests ate in outdoor jackets. It was a rainy day in December.

Really good resort with spectacular views and a brilliant staff. One small complaint: my room was facing ongoing construction and I wish I was informed about the same. Seems a little unfair to my wife and me.

When checking in as a solo travel was made to feel as if not good enough to be there without someone else.

Very nice room with large comfortable bed and chairs. We were there in mid Feb and the room was a bit warm with no ac. It cooled down nicely at night. The shuttle to town was very useful. I wish we would have brought our clubs to play the beautiful courses. Only complaint is the 2 main restaurants were booked during our 2 day stay. It would have been helpful if the resort would have recommended making reservations when we made our booking (2 months in advance). The resort did not do anything to try and compensate us.

I’m a big fan of Millbrook have stayed several times over the years. Put up with crap service during COVID times but now it’s more of a joke they claim “eco” which just means no service .. I don’t mind if you don’t change towels or sheets but not emptying rubbish replacing tea and coffee etc or restocking the mini bar is just poor service . Sure you can ask for it but it’s not what I want to do at 11pm after a big day out then wait 15 min for someone to come.

outstanding natural beauty, ringed by mountains, this resort is an exceptionally stunning place to stay. They have blended the older historic buildings with the newer accommodations in such sympathetic manner, All of a cloth. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable 2 bedroom suite which was pristinely clean, with sumptuous bed linens, huge comfy beds, spacious living- dining room areas with fireplaces, complete with a kitchenette and all the amenities you would expect in a five star resort. Large ensuite bathrooms with separate shower and massive bathtubs, with patios overlooking the golf greens -all with a stunning mountainous backdrop. This well established historic resort is graced with a plethora of 200 year old shade trees and gorgeous long established mature gardens filled with flowers, brooks and fragrant bushes. The Millhouse restaurant has exquisite food and the other eateries have indoor and alfresco seating to enjoy the natural surroundings. The only thing we missed out on was the spa treatment appointments were fully booked though we called a week in advance and it was one of the reasons we booked into this glorious estate. Staff were friendly and helpful and the entire estate oozes luxury in a quiet understated way. Its a one of a kind diamond among gems.

Millbrook Resort has a lot to offer for a stay - even for non golfers like us. That said we used it to just chill out for a night. You do often need to book the fine dining Restaraunts in advance, but we found the Hole in One cafe to be perfect for a relaxed meal and drinks.

It was amazing! Millbrook Resort is picturistic and unbelievable comfortable! We stayed in the 2 bedroom Suite. Cozy, warm, spacious, practical! It has fully equipped kitchen and laundrary, very considerate for ski trip! Haven't mentioned the super friendly and professional staff that are always there for you. The shuttle bus to Arrowtown and Queenstown made your stay is as home. Everything is perfect! You must try the hot tub outside of the swimming pool, It is just on top of the world feeling!

Great golf courses. Superb views.

Millbrook is such a lovely place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The gardens are always kept looking beautiful. Staff friendly. Meals at the restaurants were lovely. Our accommodation was very clean, comfortable and luxurious. Thank you to all the staff.

Nice place to stay however it's clear golfers take priority. We went for a drink in the bar and were told we couldn't stay as a group of 40 golfers were due in. I also felt rather nervous walking round as a few times golf balls flew very Close. Kobi restaurant is a must.

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a beautiful resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Amazing views. Very quiet and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and luxurious, lovely big bed, nice and comfortable, lovely big bathroom. This was our second visit and we looking forward to coming back again

Eveyhing you need for a relaxing stay is right there. The Pool and Gym facilities are excellent

Beautiful location and lovely spacious room. Would definitely recommend.
