The hotel was perfect for our quick getaway with a show at the Chicago Theatre which was easy walking distance. Rooms were clean and generally well kept. Beds were comfortable.
It wasn't the newest or fanciest hotel in the neighborhood but perfect for a landing spot after a full day of exploring the city. I would definitely stay again.

It was just "ok" - the bed had a lot of weird particulate between the box and mattress and the walls were scuffed. The ac was super loud and obviously its chicago so no view to speak off - the bar scene was solid and it is close to ballys - would repeat at a lower price but not what we paid for the trip

The Acme had a cool vibe, fun decor, and was close to all things downtown. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable but overall it felt a little “tired” and “worn.” The room wasn’t super clean as there was something splattered on the side of one of the beds and the floors seemed either old or dirty. The bathroom didn’t feel fresh and clean. Keep in mind there is no parking so you have to park in one of the nearby garages and it was $40 for one night.

We stayed for one night, arrived late and checked out early for a flight. We would have loved to explore it more and checkout the restaurant and/or bar. Its motif is great. The room and bed were with sufficient seating space to enjoy Chicago’s deep dish pizza from Pizzeria Uno just seconds away. We would like to have found a few utensils in the room, to eat and cut the pizza but this is a minor detail that is not an issue. The hotel is also conveniently located to Bally’s Casino.

Depending on what room you get you may not have a view if you are at the back of building but those rooms are super quiet and dark for sleeping. We were Tim Chicago for the marathon so this was actually desirable. Great cocktail bar in site! Amazing location! Great staff!

Our 3 night stay was enjoyable and the location is terrific. We were adjacent to the elevators and experienced noice when they operated.

was at the hotel from October 10 to 14, 2024. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean, the beds are good, and the rooms are quite private because you can't hear anything from the hallways. A bit expensive for not including a Cage, but the room has a refrigerator, microwave, iron, and hair dryer. Overall, very good.

This was my first time in Chicago and this cute little boutique hotel is located right in the heart of everything. We were able to walk to reaturants, do shopping, and so close to all the attractions. The room was larger than expected and its has such a unique feel. The only negative is the pillows were super FLAT & UNCOMFORTABLE.

Everything started well then on the third day of our stay we had to REQUEST room service which was not done even when we requested it. The trash was not taken our during our 3 night stay, towels weren’t changed, bedsheets weren’t changed, floor was not cleaned.. nobody ever stepped a foot in our room during our stay. Location is really good as you can walk to major attractions but due to lack of service (not bad since we never got it), I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

This hotel is a hidden gem. I had not heard of it before and it popped up one day during my search. Everyone was incredibly nice, the hotel was quiet, and it has a quirky charm.
The room was very clean, and I loved the hotel decor. I would absolutely stay here again.

For the centre of Chicago certainly a good choice, but quite expensive for a very small room, only the bathroom had an acceptable size. On the other hand, all attractions nearby, lots of shopping and dining, overall a good choice, if people want to explore the city by feet. Good asset: small bakery for breakfast just on the ground floor, and cool bar with dining options at night right in the building.

Easy check in process. Hidden gem in a great area. Minutes from anything you’d want. Shopping. Escape rooms, bars, beercades, etc. parking garage next door is on spothero and a great way to store your car for the weekend. It’s next to the redline. There is street noise that can be loud at times but that’s a given. Cafe downstairs is a nice touch. Nice view of the Hancock building from room. Would stay again with no hesitations.

Boutique style hotel with really cool retro decor. Rooms are small but you’re in downtown Chicago so that’s expected. Staff is super nice. Excellent value and location. Will not hesitate to stay here again for our next Cubs pilgrimage trip!

We picked this hotel specifically because of the neighborhood it’s in, which has a ton of restaurants and access to multiple transit lines. However, we ended up appreciating the fun design of the rooms that actually had a bit of character. Plus, the city view from our window was excellent. We’d stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in ACME. Great location and clean. The only comment I want to make is the fact that the safe inside our room was not secured to anything. We always like to put our valuables in the safe so we don't have to worry about carrying them around. So if our room was broken into, the whole safe could easily have been stolen. We are used to safes being securely attached to the wall or a non removable piece of furniture.

The venue was great, it has good vibes and it feels overall more cozy than generic big chain.
However, the bed mattress was overdue for a change (one side was caved in due to over use) and the gym, while described as "a real gym" on their website, was clearly set up by someone who never went to the gym in their life.

The staff overall at the front desk was not terribly friendly. There was no warmth which is not my chief complaint. I stayed 4 nights and after asking 3xs to have my room cleaned, it wasn’t cleaned once. The rooms are small which I assumed so to stay a business week was really challenging. The room I had faced a brick wall and was very dark and gloomy. Service was very poor.

Hotel was pretty clean, especially for a very busy area. Room could have been quieter in terms if the AC and street noise but good isolation from other rooms. Every time I opened the door I could hear loud kids but nothing with the door shut. They’re going for a hip, boutique vibe and doing a pretty good job of it. Room was a nice size, but it wasn’t cheap. Nice overall experience.

This is a unique property but in a good way. Jerome was so helpful upon check-in and never failed to help when it was needed. Very clean facility and with a mini fridge in the room and free wi-fi, it was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommend Acme Hotel Company!!

It was my first stay in the hotel. Check-in was quick. The person at the front counter was very friendly. The room itself was very clean. A big comfortable bed and clean shower. It had a fridge which i used to keep snacks and drinks. It was a small room perfect for one person. It was facing a building so there wasn't much light however, for the amount of time I spent there it really didn't bother me. Walking distance to many places and the CTA.

Great property, loved the funky decor and unique style. Room was small but comfortable. Clean and quiet. Hotel bar doesn’t open until evening, but we found others close by for an afternoon cocktail. We used the parking lot directly next door, which was reasonable and convenient by Chicago standards. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again.

Last week, We went on a family trip and had booked a double queen bed room several months ago. On the day of our stay, we were shocked by the view from the room we were assigned. The left window faced the inside of a parking tower, providing a literal parking lot view, and the right window showed a blocked building interior with a bizarre sculpture hanging. We didn't request a room change at check-in because the front desk female clerk was unfriendly, We just decided to stay in the room for the night. We will not be staying at this hotel again.
