Great clean room for a very affordable rate. In town due to family member in hospital. Nice clean room.

It was not so good, the room temperaturue was the same as outside. I was moved to another room and it took THE MAJORITY OF THE EVENING FOR THE ROOM TO WARM UP. I HAD TO PUT TOWELS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR TO KEEP THE HEAT IN AND COLD AIR O-U-T!!! :-(
IN ADDITION, I HAD TO USE HAIR BLOW DRYER TO HELP WARM UP THE ROOM. SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND ANNOYING, HAD TO TO TURN THE TELEVISION UP LOUD IN ORDER TO HEAR OVER THE NOISE.!!!!! ;-(. I SHOULD BE REFUNDED FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!

This was the only room available in town that I booked at the last minute for family weekend at MSU. I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely appointed it was! The rooms are clean and have all working amenities (microwave, fridge, etc), the beds are soft with nice comforters and the shower has great water pressure. The staff was super friendly. I'd stay again!

Paid way too much money for the poor quality of the motel

The first room we stayed in was 113. It was disgusting. It reeked of smoke. Right outside the door was a giant ashtray and the designated smoking area. We asked for a new room but she said they had none. The next morning (after having to sleep with the blankets over our heads because it stunk) we were told by the employee named Star that she would reach out to manager to get us some kind of credit. When I saw her later that day she said he was working on it and would be in touch with us no later than Sunday morning. We never heard from him.
The new room we had which was a suite was way better but the shower did not drain and we had to scoop the water out otherwise it would flood the room,
They see getting away with surge pricing but the place is disgusting.
Pay more elsewhere!

The room did the job. I needed a place to stay vs. traveling home to SE Michigan and returning back to mid-Michigan the next day. It met my basic needs. I would definitely utilize this property again if I needed a quick place to stay, but the fitness center... left me wanting.

Just spend a little extra on a nicer hotel and avoid this place.
There was a bio-hazard in my room and the hotel staff would not even refund me.
The entire hotel felt dirty.
The carpets in the stairway were clearly not cleaned in a long time.
All glass doors were visibly dirty.
Then the hazardous item in my room… if the room had been vacuumed, this hazardous item would have been seen. So clearly the room had not been properly cleaned in some time.
Also, if you like to sleep in a dark room… look somewhere else for your stay. Very bright lights right outside of the window and insufficient curtains.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was clean, but did have an odd odor to it, possibly old smoke smell & cleaner. You can tell the building is definitely an older building, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We arrived late Friday night, the staff at the front desk was very nice. Our room was around the back of the bldg which seemed very sketchy. The room was very nice and clean, there were people hanging around outside smoking weed and talking very loud. In the morning there were 2 people standing outside our room and I think they were both strung out on drugs. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

The TV didn’t work at all. I asked about compensation and I was told a manager would get back to me, none ever did.

It would have been excellent but our AC fan was having some problems and was extremely loud and sounded like a wheezing cat was dying, it also gave off a funny smell. Other than that it is a good property, have stayed there previously and would give it another chance!

The room was fine, and the staff was excellent, but it wasn’t clear to me from the photos that this is a motel – like your door opens to the outside. It met our needs and seemed clean but could use some updating.

Adequate one-night stay. Quiet, clean. Abbreviated breakfast, but IHOP is right down the road.

Three different and RUDE Housekeepers came to our door without knocking and pushed the door. We told them we are packing up and getting out soon but they didn’t have any communication even with their manager and they were coming one after another!!!
It was only 15 minutes passed the check out time and one of the workers who was a man, was waiting outside and giving an angry look to my girlfriend and scared her.
Very RUDE and POOR housekeeping service and of course I will report that Harassment to the right place!

The service was excellent. Cleanliness okay--The bathroom was not 100 percent clean. The floor in the bathroom was dirty in the corners. The bedroom was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable.

The room was recently refurbished. It was small, but clean and functional. The pictures are quite deceiving, as it is a much smaller room and facilities than it appears on Hotels.com. Staff was generally helpful. Breakfast is not diabetic-friendly, mostly carbs.

I visit lot of places and motels were average to best.
This one - To be honest, Terrible experience.
Bed bugs, flies and insects.
Had an option to change the room, same thing, had to vacate early.
Shown the pics to General Manager Andy, initially tried to convince saying it’s quite common but when I shown the ants and flies videos (and in-person) he assured he will clean and promised me to refund the stay which I didn’t stay. He said already put a note to Expedia about refund. Been waiting to get the refund.
Expedia says none from Clarion Pointe motel acknowledging.
I kept calling, receptionist Justine said to call back in a day or two but been waiting for 3 weeks. Lame/unresponsive/irresponsible is this how you run the business??

Decent overall with a good breakfast. The overnight frint desk responded quickly when we called about people being loud at 2am.

Star is an amazing employee and a joy to interact with. Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, and walk-in shower nice. Older building…needs renovation. Floor sags a bit near bathroom. I always stay at Clarion Point as price is good and people pleasant. Rooms can be hit and miss.
