We had a great sty with the kids. Imane was really helpful and arranged an upgrade as it was the children’s birthdays this weekend. Catered to all our needs. The hotel is nice, if dated but staff in general were approachable and helpful. Have stayed here before as the pool and beach area are good especially for the kids. Breakfast has improved from the last time I stayed which is good.

Unprofessional front desk supervisor. Reservations was for a supervisor room but he gave me a standard room and his justification was the hotel is fully booked eventhough my reservation was confirmed and refused to credit the deference in mt account and had to accept or find others hotels thats is totally Unprofessional way to treat a paying customer

my reservation was for a superiore room and when i checked in the supervisor gave me standard room, without consulting me actually he laid to me stating that is very good room. i checked the room out and it was so small and not balacony. i compained to the supervisor and his answer was we are sorry we are fully booked even though i has a reservation and it was confrimed for a ssuperiore room and worse then that he tryied to sell me and upgarde for extra 20BD. which is crezy becase i have already paid. room did not have any toothbrush and shivers. one more thing my booking was though hotel.com and when i complain to them they called the hotel and the same supervisor laid to them and stated that we were check in a superiore room. this is my experience with the hotel 18/05/2023.

I booked an ocean view suite and instead was given a pool view. I was overcharged by 40%, many different items in the room didn’t work including the phone, the sliding door was broken and made noise all night and the water that came out of the bath tub was brown

The hotel dates back to the 80's. They haven't invested a dime since. The staff do not seem to have been trained on customer service. There's no way I'm ever staying there again.

Hotel was in a great location with good facilities. We selected the half board option and the food was great both at breakfast and dinner. A few suggestions of improvement would be that the lady who worked in the kids club was asleep at times whilst I was looking after my daughter in there. Also for the half board dinner option it would be nice to be offered something to drink other than water.

The property has very dated decor - needs a fresh coat of paint, proper switches for lighting, and a USB charging point (as most modern facilities). In addition it had a very dated TVset with poor picture quality. Toilet paper and soap ran out on the 2 nd day and took some time to get replaced - not really acceptable given the rates that were charged.

The pool is good but it needs more room for the parent to stay and watch their kids. The space is limited and most of the parents are standing to watch their kids

One never had to leave the property, in fact, we only left the property twice in our 4 day stay. Once to shop and another to try a restaurant my wife wanted to try. Pool and swim up bar was fun. Met a lot people and made new friends there.

Good hotel!

The Novotel Al Dana Resort is a Perfect Place for Families (we have Kids aged 6&8). A beautiful and well mantained oasis with great views from every corner of the Resort. We enjoyed the spacious room with the balcony, the Pool and private beach Most. The breakfast is great with a lot of fresh fruits and good pastry. The hotel is very family friendly and Kids weren‘t charged for the room and for breakfast. Everybody was so friendly and I think european families would feel very Safe and wellcomed. Thanks everybody for a perfect week!

The only thing that disturbed this pleasing stay and forced me to take one point out of my rating was at check-out. I asked for a late check out at 2 pm, and they very kindly agreed, however, just before that time was up I received repetitive calls at my room to remind me to check out .. that was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. I would understand that if I was late to check out, however I was not. That was the only negative side on that stay, otherwise it was a good hotel to stay at.

A lovely feel to this place. Very friendly staff. Although a bit under-staffed, especially in reception. Otherwise really liked it. Low-rise and relaxed holiday feel.

Beautiful older hotel. Well kept. Slight mildew smell to the room but it is on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful including the front desk, service, and every employee we have encountered. Will definitely come again when visiting Bahrain. Clean bed and fluffy towels. The ambiance is wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub. We had a cheese plate (outstanding!) and wine beachside early evening. We ate at the Le Perl Restaurant. Upscale pricing but the food was exceptional and generous portions! The wait staff was attentive and seemed to know just when to appear and when to let us enjoy our meal in private. The hotel seems to be a good place for families and we enjoyed seeing the children. We were here on a break from work in KSA.

The reception ignored the request for a beach view suite initially even though I reminded her before she assigned me the room

The room wasn't available for check-in by 5 pm. The room we finally got into was not the Sea View room that we booked, and it took several hours the next day to relocate. The staff offered nothing to compensate us for our inconvenience, and overall service left much to be desired. We will not be returning when other options are available.

Read reviews before booking, an advice that I did not do carefully when I booked my room. The clear scam of writing sea view at the title of the room, is really annoying. My wife and I booked a sea view roam and it was not cheap. We actually chose the highest price in that category to get a room with a good view. However, we got a room that has road view with a tiny sea view. ( which by the way happened to a customer who wrote a review here, only one month ago ) this room should be titled : >> PARTIAL SEA VIEW<< The disturbing noises of the cars, horns and the jet skies who likes to play under our room 24/7 is really a piece killer. You keep hearing the sounds All time at night, early morning and after noon. We have tried to speak with reception to change our room and they refused due to all rooms are booked which is by the way an utter lie. Since we checked on many apps such as hotels, booking, and agoda. All of them have vacancies on all categories. I spoke with the hotline of hotels.com, since I booked the room through it and they have tried really hard, and they have called them two times ( the first day and the second day ) trying to convince the receptionist, the supervisor and the booking manager to change our room since it is clearly not as stated when we booked as sea view. However they refused saying fully booked. We know they are not. The hotel is at max at 40% capacity. In terms of rooms, the furniture is at least 15 to 20 years old from the closet to
