I enjoyed a comfortable night and excellent breakfast and will use ABBA again in the future.

The hotel is in a good location for bus and train services. They really need to pull up the carpet as this makes the room feel very dirty and dusty.

We stayed one night with our dog before taking the ferry back to the UK. It is very convenient for the ferry terminal. Lots of restaurants near by.

It was perfectly placed for everything we wanted to do.

The room was comfortable and clean. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely lots to chose from. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and service, but the hotel needs renovations, the carpet smells bad and looks very old. Closed to everything.

An absolute gem of an hotel. Very well situated in city centre with lots of bars and restaurants around in very close proximity. Please note, there is no bar in this hotel even though Hotels.com say that there on the hotel information but there isn't and there never has been so don't know where hotels.com get there info from. Hotel was very clean, room was very clean, bed very comfortable, excellent bathroom. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful at all times. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. We caught the bus from airport to city centre and hotel is right next to bus station, very close to port for ferry's and very close to train station. Bus runs every 40 minutes. Also caught bus back to airport, only a 10 minute ride. Definitely recommend hotel abba santander and if i ever go back to santander that is where I'll stay.

Loved this hotel! Santander is a beautiful city. Was very busy while we were there as festival at the weekend. Loved this hotel in great location just outside the old town and right next to the bus station where airport bus drops off. Our room was on 3rd floor and had big windows and lottle balcony but with windows closed no noise from traffic or street Room was very spacious ans modern with free bottled water and coffee machine as well as kettle and fridge.

Good location in the city centre and very convenient if you take the ferry.

The hotel is right next to the ferry terminal. We asked the staff for some information about the ferry (namely where do foot passengers go for the Portsmouth ferry) and they had no idea. They gave us the wrong information. They have probably been asked this a hundred times. For goodness sakes, have a bit of curiousity and find out what the situation is! Foot passengers can enter at the ferry terminal across the street they DO NOT have to walk 1km down the orad and then back 1km behind the fence. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

I booked at short notice as I had a ferry to catch the next morning… It’s a smart hotel in the centre 10 mins walk from the ferry passenger terminal Clean and smart , large older character building outside.. reception ‘bar area ‘ has stained glass & Edwardian type fittings …closed / shut due to current conditions.. but modern touch seating ..by desk The afternoon receptionist was a bit business like with booking in .. the checkout reception person was friendlier Room 3rd floor lovely with small balcony, nice bathroom , bed , carpet Would stay again

Very convenient, next to ferry and bus and rail stations. Also near cafes and restaurants. Seemed expensive compared with last time we stayed. Small room.

Very nice room, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and has kettle and beverages, most unusual in Spain. Near ferry port, railway station, bus station and shops and restaurants.

The hotel looks and feels dated. Yes, it has comfortable beds and a convenient location, but the place has definitely seen better days and one cannot escape the feeling that the carpets and furniture are not very clean.

A very positive stay with very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The only negative was that the bed was rather firm.

We stayed here just one night but found the room very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with parking right outside the building. Location is a short walk to the Botin Centre, the train and bus station, and to city center shopping and restaurants.

Location is great for a few nights if coming from the airport and taking bus into the centre of Santander....the Abba Hotel is very close to the bus station and you pass it on the bus just before the bus stop. Nearby (turn left from the hotel) there are a number of bars and cafes and a short walk further and to the left there are a lot more. Handy if you come in late in the evening as we did. There is also a supermarket more or less opposite the hotel.Hotel reception lady was really helpful and gave us a map and directions to nearby places.Room itself was fine and having tea and coffee making facilities was an added bonus (havent come across this much in other hotels in Spain). Our room had a small balcony that you could stand on but not sit but sufficient for our purposes.We didnt have breakfast as there were a lot of bars to choose from that did basic breakfasts at a good price.There was some building work going on next door to the hotel when we arrived and not sure how long this will go on for. It stopped about 4.30pm and didnt really worry us too much as we were out most of the day. The traffic noise was acceptable but to be considered if you want a quiet beachside holiday which this is not really the area for, more city location.

Very friendly and informative chap on reception (with very good English). He and the location were excellent, otherwise the hotel does a decent job as one would hope.

Stayed in hotel for 7 nights had a great time would have no problem recommending hotel.
