I have stayed here numerous times over the past several years. Always clean with friendly staff. Right next to the interstate with McDonalds in the backyard and a nice truck stop diner and gas next door.

Walked in to the room looked at the stained towels, smelly room, none-working lamp and dirty fllor and walked right back out and went to a different hotel.

The shower was moldy. Breakfast food seemed days old and there was a sign stating you were not allowed to take the food out of the tiny breakfast room.

Well, this was once my favorite place to overnight when doing a cross country run. But I have not been here in a few years and it has been sold to individuals who obviously doesn't love it as much as the previous owner. It is no longer the gem it once was. Dirty carpet, broken chairs and a bed that is firmly resting against an ancient baseboard heater, which looks unsafe. On the plus side- a clean bathroom. I am quite sure I will never stay here again The price was about the same as I paid for a nice room at a Hampton Inn the night before so there you go. Last, as an added bonus, there is garbage and tons on dog s**t right out front on the grassy area. And don't forget the diesel pickup idling right outside the door for 15 minutes at 0330 in the morning

Not good, advertised as pet friendly, got there and they said there was only a section of the hotel that was and not the room we got.

The staff is friendly, its an older classic--Aframe office, jack-alope photo opportunity, but updated, clean, in a good location for the traveler. The breakfast offered was really decent. Biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal

Good stay. traveling and needed a one night stay. Price was right, and although an older hotel, it was clean and served the purpose. Note; It is close to restaurants and has a mediocre breakfast, but good enough to get going !

I have trouble believing the reviews for this motel. The stairwell is falling apart. The first room had cockroaches. The second room I didn't see cockroaches but there were flies. The carpeting was filthy. The bedding and linens were clean. The bed was comfortable. I was only there for a pitstop after driving all day. I guess you get what you pay for. I stayed there 3-4 years ago and I remember it to be decent for the $$. After this last visit, I won't be back.

Extremely friendly and proud staff, they take care of their investments and expect their guests to do the same, exactly the way I was brought up. Breakfast was not a huge offering but everything was kept fresh, very clean, wrapped up, and well stocked. The building is older but you can see that they have taken much care and spent money on keeping it up to date and fresh. Very comfortable beds, probably one of the best night's sleep I has in a week of traveling day to day. Thanks.

For an older property, this one is well maintained and clean. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean.
Large TV. The breakfast was medium in terms of selection but it was ready at 6 am and offered a nice continental breakfast plus. Good value. Special thanks to Andy and Om. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned after visiting western South Dakota.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the air worked well, the breakfast had lots of options… waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, bananas & mandarins, with coffee & liquid flavored creamers. The check in man was friendly.

I was in a separate small building. There was no light and felt unsafe. Lights were turned on so that helped.
Front desk had poor command of English. I have no idea what he said to me. Also there was a customer who was not happy and front desk did a very poor job of resolving the problem

Bedroom was reasonably updated. Bathrooms are dated but functional. It’s likely a small business managed by the owners, so they might call if you arrive after 9pm.

A nice hotel, it is older, but it was clean comfortable and quiet, did not eat breakfast so can’t rate it. It was close to lots of places to eat

The room was gross…dirty walls, doors, bathroom. Extremely outdated. Broken chair, mold and mildew shower, room smelled like urine, carpet felt damp and made my feet dirty….ewww!
Front desk was nice enough but only spoke memorized sentences in English so he couldn’t answer our questions, which was frustrating.
The sheets and towels were clean and bug free though, so there’s a positive.

Traveling as a single woman, I was very concerned when I noticed there is no way to deadbolt the door. I mean, there was a deadbolt but it can be opened using the door key from the outside.
It’s an older hotel that doesn’t seemed to have been remodeled. It had a faint old hotel smell, but not bad at all. It was clean and everything worked great.

For the price this hotel may deserve better marks. They are working hard to renovate. Points deserved for that. Bathroom was very nice Bed was comfortable and bedding looked new as did towels.
We were able to park right in gront of the door which was very convenient. We stayed only one night. Quieter than more expensive motels we have stayed in. Very last ge wall tv which we didn’t have time to use but might impress some travelers. It was “okay” for less than 100.00. Staff very helpful.

For a non chain hotel it was very nice. Clean and roomy. Breakfast area is small but doable. Did have a hard time with the key to the door. After a bit of jigging it around door opened.

Although a little outdated, super clean ànd quiet. Extremely reasonable price. Beds were comfortable, especially the pillows. Bath towels could use a replacement but they did the job. Front desk folks very friendly. Had heard great things about it so we thought we’d try it. Glad we did. Will be back.

There was no mention of a $20 per pet fee. It just said pet friendly and nothing mentioning that online.

We always stay here when going through Mitchell. While the room is a bit dated, it’s always been spotless and quiet. Easy on/off the interstate.
