Hotel is fairly nice, but room key would not work. After 4 different keycards that the Manager could not get to work, they gave us a Master Cleaning Keycard. So much for security! This card would only work after about 20-30 tries. Employees said the Management would never fix these and are a continuous problem. Decent hotel with terrible ownership.

The rooms ( we stayed in 2 different rooms, 2 separate days) were large but in tired condition. Also, the lighting in the pool area was very dim when we used it at night.

Terrible smell of marijuana in lobby. Entire motel smelled horrible including the room. Missing tiles and rotten/missing drywall on bathroom. Shower surround and tub floor were in horrible condition and disgustingling dirty. Previous guest’s beer was left in fridge. Do not recommend this motel and will never stay there again. We did not even stay, and went to another hotel. Still waiting for a refund we may not even get.

We stayed at Kelly Inn about 10 years ago & we were very pleased with the accommodations & cleanliness. Unfortunately it’s not the same, everything was rundown, worn out towels, carpet & furniture it appears nothing has been updated since our last visit. The cleanliness was poor, a dirty towel was left on the back of the bathroom door, the room had an odd strong unpleasant smell & I needed to purchase air freshener which did little to help, the upholstered chairs were full of stains, the air conditioning vent was full of dirt/dust. I could go on & on, we will not return.

Matthew at the front desk came to the hot tub when we were in and asked to take a picture then put it on FB. He was very scary. The next day he was with a woman and her 3 kids. She left them in the pool/hot tub and left them there all alone. They were little. Thanks

It's an ok hotel. It's a good place to stay with our dog. We're not impressed by their breakfast. We've stayed there before & will stay again.

Always a convenient place to stay on our annual road trip from MD to MT. Very good breakfast choices. The Devore is fun.

The place was nice, stylishly more of a log cabin feel. Everything was fine until the smoke alarms went off at about 3:15 AM, and then again about an hour later. At that point, we couldn't return to sleep, so we just packed up and left. Not sure what the issue was, but there was no apologies upon our departure.

Nice rustic appeal. Our room was roomy with a very comfortable bed. The ideas that the lower rooms were accessible to the out side while upper two floors are your typical hotel. The pool area was good size, good lighting that it didn’t feel closed in. The breakfast area is decent size. The only downside would be the shower-tub is to narrow to stand normal inside. Friendly staff, and great breakfast options

Our stayed at the Kelly Inn was our first night of our family vacation on our way to Yellowstone, Rushmore, Grand Tetons, and Custer.
Overall it was a fine hotel. The room was fine and location was great -- very close to the Corn Palace.
The breakfast was great and very busy.
Our one concern was the pool. It was super dark in the pool with very little lighting. The pool also looks like it needed a litle cleaning attention.
Overall, it was a fine stay.

Friendly, quick, easy check in. Parked my motorcycle right outside my door. Room had direct access to outside and hotel hallway. Best of both worlds.

The bed in room 206 was very close to the air conditioner and with the AC on, air flow was quite strong to the side of the bed by the AC.
