Nice hotel good location friendly staff

Quiet, convenient location. Staff was great!

Staff were very pleasant, very helpful, and kind to be around. Especially so with my child which is a big plus for me.

Had a very nice stay this hotel. No complaints. Staff was VERY nice and welcoming, breakfast was complete, and the extra touch of waters, muffins and fruit in the lobby all day long was nice to grab when needed on a day of walking around Milan. We would recommend and stay again.

Fantastic hotel. Whilst it is a 3 star hotel it had everything and possibly more than 4 and 5 star hotels we've stayed in. Starting with welcome drinks in the evenings to free breakfast with a great variety and then the drinks in the fridge were all free. Also in the foyer you could get free water, fruit and usually a selection of muffins. Amazing staff and service. Nothing was a bother for them. Keep up the great hospitality!

Beautiful courtyards

Perfect location for a few days of exploring the centre of Milan. Pleasant atmosphere.

Very kind and helpful staff and a perfect location. Quiet street with only a 10 min walk to La Scala, Duomo and the shopping gallery.

A beautiful hotel snuggled in the center of the city where you could feel the activity and reach the Duomo easily yet feel like you were in a quiet paradise when inside. The staff were all absolutely amazing and helpful and greeted with a complimentary wine hour for the guests was perfect after a hectic ride into the city.

The Gran Duca di York deserves five stars. From check-in to the welcome drink, to the staff, the availability (without charge) of water in the lobby and other services - as well as the location, ten minutes from the Duomo - make it, in my opinion, a great hotel!

Superb position in town within easy reach of Duomo and other sights. Fantastic staff one of whom , Serena, helped me get my hand baggage back that I had foolishly left in the cab from the airport. Lovely breakfast and overall a great stay. Thanks

Location was great a five minute walk to cathedral. Receptionist spoke English and was very helpful.room was very nice and clean.

Beautiful property just a few minutes walk from the Duomo. Wonderful staff, lovely comfortable room with great amenities including a complimentary glass of Prosecco each evening, robes, slippers and complimentary soft drinks from your fridge. Highly recommend this property

We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. We liked the added extras like free soft drinks in the minibar. Very central location but on a quiet street too.

It was a terrific location close to Piazza Duomo and.Via Dante. Lovely traditional Italian feel about it. Great staff who were everhelpful. We will definitely stay there when we are next in Milan.

Older hotel but great beds and breakfast. Accommodating staff

Returned to this hotel, just prior to our departure from Europe. It is in a wonderful location very close to the Duomo and several other museums, etc. there is a grocery store about two minutes walk away and cafés and pizza places in very close proximity. The front desk is very helpful and can arrange for a taxi or private car in the city and to and from the airport. Had a larger room this time which faced the street ( different from our prior room, which faced inner courtyard. The only trade-off was that the bigger room had a very nice patio, more sunlight, as it had windows, facing the street and a side street. But it was noisy. There was distinct traffic sounds even though it is on a side street. The interior room facing the interior Courtyard was very quiet. The hotel also has a free drink upon arrival and a very nice bar area and gathering place for gas. Also a nice breakfast spread and a sunny and welcoming breakfast room. A very comfortable and safe , moderately priced hotel in close proximity to city sites.
