Nice staff, really nice actually. It’s just old and has the window heater/AC units and they are really loud. No sheets and pillows are old. You get what you pay for but again staff was awesome

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Neal was especially helpful - I requested an upstairs room and he went out of his way to give me and my friend a spacious upstairs room.

Low p[riced for a reason, but it was safe and parking was plentiful. Most rooms have larger beds but I selected the lowest rate for the room with 2 twin beds. I slept in one, and it was good enough. However, I could hear the guest snoring in the room above mine.

Okay this is a hotel from the '60's but is in a nice and convenient location (on bus 22 route 1.5 miles to Stanford) and close to many restaurants from Thai, French, Italian, of course Mexican and more. Walkable to California Ave where many restaurants are on a closed street. Had a good time and staff very pleasant.

I was put in room 133 which is right next to Camino real street. At approximately 1230 AM heavy construction started on Camino Real and lasted almost all night long. There was no way to sleep at all. The Stanford motor lodge should reimburse me in total for the absolute worst lodging experience in my life

The bed linen, toilets, and surfaces were clean. Room carpet was filthy and sticky; and the rooms in general was falling apart. They are a genial host and the place has made effort to be upbeat with wall murals and nooks, but the general level of maintenance os abysmal.

Desk staff was very nice but in the room tub faucet ran all night, bed was rock hard. AC was loud and cycled on and off frequently, and continental breakfast wasnt attractive or worth the calories

Classic american motel. Staff super friendly and location great for my purpose. So if you are looking for an affordable option in a clean safe and environment w. a small pool and supported by super friendly and serviced minded this is the way to go!

This is a classic old school motel, with each room painted with custom art. You can see it is many years old, but for us it is indeed "excellent." A breath of fresh normalcy in the otherwise bizarre Palo Alto landscape.

Bathroom was soaking wet because the upstairs room leaks down. I was told that it always happens. It was treated as though it was a normal occurrence.

The front desk staff tried very hard to support, but should not have been put in that situation.

Our home had no electricity for 3 days during a major storm. We have a dog so the hotel choices were limited. The people at the front desk were lovely, comfortable beds and warm showers were all we needed. We were close to food as well which was great!

The staff was great. Didn’t like the rug, which was filthy. Everything connected with extension cords. Furnishings old and grubby. Bed uncomfortable.
