Loved the central location of the hotel with easy access to the freeway. Neighborhood seemed safe and there were business (coffee, grocery, restaurants) nearby.
The hotel was a bit run down, but clean. Comfortable beds, but the beds were quite high - not good for someone with limited mobility. There were no grab bars in the bathroom/shower, which would have been helpful as I was traveling with my elderly mother.

The room was clean and a decent size. It has been updated except for the bathroom, but it was fine. If your room faces the freeway, like ours did, you'll not be able to sleep unless you wear earplugs. The room did not have a recycling bin, but I used a paper bag and put all the recycling in it, though who knows whether it actually got recycled. The hallways are dim and look a bit shabby, especially around the elevator, but none of that affected our stay. It was a good place for a short stay for the cost. Having Woods Coffee about 50 feet from the front door was a real bonus.

It's right next to the freeway, so there's a lot of traffic noise. Overall, the property is run down, but clean. We got a good deal on an executive suite, which gave us more room. The furniture is old, but clean. The bathroom fixtures worked, they're just old.

Simple. Relaxing. Close to the university and that’s what we needed for a 1 night stay.

The place is okay overall. Nice staff and great location but it needs maintenance and updates. Carpets in the main hallway smell, there’s leaks and the smell of mold because of the leaks.
My room was clean but dingy carpets and dark decor just makes the place feel a little sad.
Great coffee place next door and it’s close to shopping and downtown.

We take a lot of last minute trips to Bellingham (kids), and there's almost always a room available at the GuestHouse. It's a little older, a little noisy (next to freeway), but beds are comfy, the breakfast is generous, and the price is one of the best in town.

We will definitely stay here again, great location and clean. The beds only had 2 small pillows each though. Overall well worth the price! The staff was awesome.

Overall good stay, as expected. For one night this was great for the price, good value. Room was relatively clean, beds were comfy, ton of space (had to fit two bikes, dog, and luggage). The breakfast was light (eggs, toast, jam, cereal, yogurt). I would stay here again if I needed another overnight stay in Bellingham. Oh and good parking and dog park!

The stay here was neither special or occasional, but convenient to the airport. The shuttle to the airport was nice at 5:30 in the morning.

The room was fine for a 2 star hotel. It is right next to the highway. the hotel is a bit run down but well kept for the condition.

The property was decent. The basics items were available. The staff was pleasant. The gentleman at the front desk in the red shirt was very helpful. The only thing i didn't like was the cobwebs in the corners.

Property showing some signs of wear. Hot tub was not open. The property is right next to the freeway so if you stay on the west side (like I did), the freeway noise is apparent even into the night. The room was quite clean and the bed comfortable.

The staff was always quick to respond and courteous. Great price for a convenient location and extended stay. Saved me a bundle by allowing my dog to stay with me.

Breakfast shot down at 9:00 on a Sunday which seemed early. No coffee available at 9:05 which was frustrating.

We needed a hotel near St. Joseph's hospital. This was pretty close. It was clean but it soon became clear that it was on a tight budget. The maids only clean on Thursdays other than requested. We also had a miscommunication about the length of our stay and that was difficult. But everyone was kind and helpful.

I thought that are room wasn't great. All of the caulking in the bathroom needed to be redone. The door handle in the bathroom was coming apart. The cover for the shower had fallen down. The bathroom was just a mess. No coffee machine in room, no freezer part to small fridge, And for the price per nite you could have done a LOT better. We have been staying here for years, but probably won't be back!!!

Staff are friendly and welcoming. I wouldnt recommend for family to stay because of the noise on the highway. The hotel is right by the highway. Room had a weird smell too.
