The carpets were not that clean, both in the halls and rooms. I stay at this Hilton Garden inn every time I travel to Rancho Bernardo. To visit my daughter. I visited the lounge on 10/21/24 in the evening and the bar tender had to be the most friendliest employee in the hotel.

The bed in my room was definitely on the firmer side and not my preference. However, the staff was accomodating to provide me with an additional comforter to "pad" the bed with.
I've stayed here before and had the same issue in another room. The batch of Kings are just hard on my bad hip and sciatica.
The extra comforter was helpful, so i appreciate that!

So I have stayed at this property multiple times and typically everything is wonderful but this time not so much. Although the staff was very friendly and doing their best in the situation not having most of the menu available because of broken kitchen equipment is kinda unacceptable and the kitchen and bar closed early as well. This was a Saturday night I do understand things happen but at nearly $400 a night I expected better

This was the best experience I've ever had at a hotel. The best staff, super helpful and accommodating. Josie was phenomenal. They made our trip amazing. We came in early and the took care of us until a room was ready. Definitely staying here when I come back.

Price was too expensive for room. There was a charge for the standard breakfast that is included at most places elsewhere. $15.00 per night parking was ridiculous based on the property location. Room smelled.

Everything was great but there is a noticeable sewage smell at this hotel that is undeniable. When I heard another customer ask staff what the smell was all about, the staff member stated that it was due to old pipes. Overall however, the staff and facilities were great. Gym was a little small for the size of the hotel and underwhelming as far as options go.

The staff seemed overwhelmed by a "new" check in system and the volume of arrivals on a Friday afternoon. Everything was just OK. Nothing stood out as above average and for the price they need to do better. Definitely not up to the standards of other Hilton Garden Inns we've stayed at.

The shower faucet dripped loudly all night, the a/c wouldn’t go below 76 and there was someone else’s hair on the sheets. I did not complain to the staff since I was at the end of a long day and didn’t want the hassle of switching my family into a new room. Breakfast buffet wasn’t very good for $20 a person but the servers were friendly. I have stayed at this hotel in the past without issue but after this stay I will look elsewhere for accommodations. The price isn’t justified with outdated room fulls of problems.

My room was poorly maintained. The shower was dripping/leaking. The bathroom sink was not draining. And there was no hand soap on the sink.

First 2 bights were hell, kids running up and down the hallway until midnight, their parents habging out in the halls. 2nd bight i called feont desk but nothing changed. 3rd night was ok. I love Hiltons, even basically loved in one a gew uears ago for months. But this was unacceptable, i will not atay here again.
