Breakfast everyday was excellent. Helpful and pleasant everyday for our twelve day stay. Location convenient and easy to find.

Miranda and Rachel were so kind, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was always such a bonus!

Lamp was out, super noisy ac, and bath tub leaked badly on both sides. Book the other Sonesta Carmel Mountain, it’s much better!

Carlo was very pleasant and helpful at check in and throughout our stay. He accommodated my request for a 3rd floor, quiet corner room. Our room was a one bedroom apartment style room. Very nice.

Front desk (Angel) is courteous. King suite is spacious, the bed is comfortable. Dog friendly hotel. Property grounds is clean, plenty of grass and poop stations with bags available. Dog & cat treats in the lobby. Our dog was comfortable here.

The kitchen was great, the bathroom area was great, but the living area was quite cramped because the couch pulled out was the 2nd bed. We were told it would be an extra bed, one that was brought in. Other than that, it was great. Breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of food. It made a good start to everyones day.

Room could use more cleanning. Refrigerator had bad odor inside and was dirty and stained.
We were only there for one night but were not comfortable using the kitchen.

Toilet got stuck and then ran periodically all night. Worst of all, the shower did not work. I had no time to switch rooms this morning so I had to take to take a bath. I’m 6’ 3”. How could they clean the room and not know the shower doesn’t work? It was not a clean room either. The glasses in the cupboard looked like they have been in there for 5-yrs. The entire hotel looks a bit rundown.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and it was fantastic! The staff was very kind and informative. The hotel is clean and has nice amenities.
We booked a 2 bedroom suite, which was perfect! My husband and I in one room and my mother-in-law in the other. Beds were comfy, there was a shower/toilet in each room with a nice kitchenette and little table to eat at.
We did find a couple ants in our room, but we just killed them and were fine. Hotel is a little dated, some of the furniture is old- but I did see in a recent review that they are renovating/updating soon so that will be very nice. The breakfast each morning was delicious!
The hotel is conveniently located to many stores and food locations as well as the freeway entrance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying again!

Quiet hotel, grateful for the refreshing dip in the pool (there is not a jacuzzi/spa) on a hot day. The breakfast is great and staffed by the friendliest lady ever. Glad we stayed here!

The staff went into our room while we were at dinner and let our dog out roaming the hotel. Instead of putting her back in the room they held her in another room so we had to leave dinner early to go get her. They denied going into our room but there is no way our dog could’ve opened a hotel door that swings inward towards her. They also don’t have cameras and kept telling us nobody would do that. I don’t trust this place and would never stay here again.

Breakfast was great and access to the pool till 10pm was nice.
The cleanliness of the suite was awful and the bathroom had a moldy smell with stains on dirt on the floor.

I had the best time. First time staying there & the experience was great. Marc & Miranda were a blast. And we loved the fact that they are pet friendly & had the best breakfast options.

It was for work, but my rooms AC didn’t work. They had a portable unit in the bedroom area of the suite. Mostly clean, couch was very worn, tvs very old.

Property is aging and in need of updates and repairs. Windows didn’t open properly, ac unit made the carpet wet, paint chipped, shower head terrible.

There was garbage from room throughout the hotel and dirty linen. The staff was friendly but didn’t seem too concerned about issues. The positive is the shower was full stream.

The hotel is very welcoming, and has a warm feeling. Every aspect of is VERY clean, and well maintained. The staff if very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The person who checked us in, Mark Angeli, appeared to be real busy, and under pressure, but delivered like a champ. Got us the room we wanted, and hand delivered the bedding we needed for our daughter. This was late in the evening, and we saw him again in the morning delivering towel at the pool. He’s amazing!
The pool area has a big fire pit with lots of comfortable seating, a big grassy area, and two bbq grills. Everything’s spaced out just right. The property is surrounded by tall trees, and feels like a nice getaway. Will definitely be coming here again!
