The accomodations at the Shangi-La Eros are world-class, exceeding our expectations. The hospitality staff - front desk, conceirage, in-room dining, Club Lounge staff, and housekeeping were highly competent and friendly.
We took two tours. The tour of Old Delhi with Anurag was magical. He is a treasure and fine ambassador of Delhi. On Sunday, we went to Agra for the Taj Mahal. Our driver Ram provided exceptional service, information, and most importantly kindness. He is professional and caring.
The hotel was the perfect homebase for our first stop in India. This is our 3rd stay with Shangri-La (Abu Dhabi and Vancouvet). Eros is the best.

Had great service on arrival and throughout the day but upon check out we constantly rang the reception and concierge to help us bring our luggage down but got no response so in the end had to come down and ask them. Upon check out the lady checking us out was very abrupt and made no apologies that no one answered our call and also was not courteous, she did not ask us how our stay was nor did we get a goodbye from her after check out was complete. This ruined an otherwise pleasant stay

Great hotel, it it is undergoing renovations at the moment. No pool, no gym, no spa and none of this was mentioned while making the booking. They will casually send you an email after the booking is complete and you are on your way. Best to avoid until renovations are done. Room service menu is extraordinarily expensive compared to most hotels in this league.

Used to be my go to hotel in Delhi….Seems hotel is going through renovation and given lower floor and heard construction noise and hammering early morning and late afternoon Not comfortable stay and above reception promised beverages which were never delivered

The property has a top location and superb staff . The hotel rooms are very well appointed , and high class all the way . The club room lounge was absolutely outstanding and worth the cost . A special mention to the manager of the lounge , Amit sharma , and the staff for making me feel so welcome . A warm thank you !

Hotel is exceptional but the area is extremely bad. If you need to stay in old Delhi and meet with tour guides, this works well. However, might consider hotels in the newer part of town given tour guides will meet you wherever your hotel is - regardless of location of Delhi.

The service was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were a lot of options. Our room was cleaned daily by Jatendra who was friendly and ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay, We had drinks and snacks at the horizon lounge and Anjali really provided outstanding service.

Fantastic hotel. Nice and spacy rooms. It has 3 excellent restaurants: Buffet, chinese(fusion) and Italian. The food was just delicious. Very good service. I would like to thank Dikte whose smile was priceless.
At the Chai café, Mercy and (I'm ashamed to say I forgot her name) were so helpful and always in a good mood. The only downside is the service at the pool. It was quite poor. We had a facial. The best we have ever had. Her name was Ria. She is simply an expert. All in all, we had a wonderful experience!!!!

The food option for Indians were not great. If you want European breakfast and American breakfast it’s great. Tons of options.
However, we leave the US for Delhi to have Indian food. The buffet is $20 plus tax per person. We hardly ate cause we wanted more veg Indian food.
Staff was great! The hotel itself is great very pleasing to the eye.

Just spent my first night in Delhi here. Approximately 35min from the airport. Friendly greeting and they took care of my bags to the room. Quick and easy checkin. Nice room with good standards. Very quiet aircondition. Small outdoor pool, and it's very noisy traffic behind the bushes/wall. Breakfast was excellent with top service and a lot to choose from. Highly recommended hotel.

Going in the winter time, you'd figure there would be some heating but there is none. It's freezing at night. There is an extra comforter in the closet but it smelled like it hadn't been washed in years. I couldn't use it.
I got electrocuted from the clothing iron because the wire was exposed from the cord near the plug. It happened twice because I didn't realize what it was the first time. Old clothing iron. My in-room safe broke twice and I had to call management two separate times because the batteries died out. Each time took 30 min of waiting.
The only good part was the buffet. Overall, this hotel is not 5 stars and doesn't live up to the name. The surrounding area is just a busy road with no sidewalk. It's not in a walkable area.

Great room, great complimentary amenities including a pool, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Cafe next to the lobby was Mister Chai, a little pricey but great cup of tea. Had a restaurant on site, Shang Palace, delicious chinese food. Had breakfast daily on site at Tamra, solid breakfast. Even got a massage at the spa, Chi, and really enjoyed it.

Hotel Erik was great . However when we went to the grappa bar…ordered things of menu that were not available ie Tap Beer and Chardonnay…. We expected better of this standard this hotel was supposed to be and was charging
