Lovely place. We had an issue with the air conditioning and after a few complaints we escalated to the manager and he moved us to a new room. He was also very attentive from that point on. The service in the restaurants is friendly but a little chaotic at times - lots of staff running about but not getting a huge amount done. The resort is great though, food and drink exceptional.

An absolutely stunning hotel and wonderful stay. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you have the best holiday. The food was brilliant, the activities at kids club were fun and the views were just amazing. A truly wonderful hotel!

A fantastic location, exceptional staff, good food quality. Awalii is a true five-star resort, with an all-inclusive formula that allows for an exceptional vacation just steps from the beautiful beaches of Mauritius. We were surprised by the quality of all the services, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff. We will definitely return to this resort

Our stay at the resort was wonderful. The facilities were excellent and all the staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. Sorted any issues that were raised. One staff member to mention in particular is Oliver who had our breakfast drinks ready at our usual table as soon as he saw us approching. Only one small criticism was the labelling of food. On one occasion what we thought was vegetarian was in fact not. But this was promptly corrected. Overall we had an excellent holiday.

Very good food, liked the sunset view and the sea and snorkeling - it was just a perfekt holiday. Sometimes the waiting time in the restaurants was very long.

We loved our Holidays in Heritage Awali. We spent there 10 days. It is a beautiful hotel, great staff, perfect location, clean room, tasty food with a lot of choices! It was really perfect!!

The property was beautiful very zen like and the staff were AMAZING. The food was average tasting but a lot of variety! The only downfall was we 2 cockroaches over 2 days.

Reception staff were most unhelpful.
The buffet restaurant was at best chaotic. The Blu restaurant was very nice and the staff were lovely in there.
The food was generally ok but not the best.
Overall this didn’t feel like a good 5 star hotel.

Perfect! We have just stayed at Heritage Awali for 9 nights and we loved it! The hotel is beautiful and on the most stunning stretch of beach. It’s postcard perfect! The room was really clean and the overall service we received was 10/10. The staff make this hotel what it is! As vegetarians and one child having a dairy allergy, the hotel could not have done more to accommodate our needs. Rohit who works at the Infinity restaurant was just AMAZING, along with Jayshnee! They went out of their way to ensure sure we were looked after every single day and Chef Deo made us the yummiest food that suited our diet. Chef Harjit who heads up the Indian restaurant was also really accommodating and the food was fab!
We can’t wait to go back and are already planning another visit next year!
We thoroughly recommend this kid-friendly hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Mauritius! You will have a great holiday if you stay here! :)

We have stayed at many resorts in Mauritius, but this was by far the most disappointing. From check-in there was a confusion about my payment, I had already paid online yet, the resort claimed there was a balance.
All inclusive stay, however all activities were fully booked whenever we asked. I don’t understand why they resort doesn’t increase capacity.
The staff at the reception seemed disinterested, and could care less to offer any solutions.
Food options at the Savannah was very limited. Grilled Tuna for 3days. The other restaurants were either always fully-booked or no kids allowed.
Request to check out at 1pm was rejected and Was forced to check out by 12. Requested baggage pickup at 11:45, only for it to arrive at 12:30!

The Awali was a beautiful resort with the most amazing staff who very attentive and helpful. One of the managers, Melanie dealt with any of our queries and was always going the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

The personal touch provided to my family was unique, staff saying hello to my son by name regularly and going above and beyond to address issues.
Main issue I had with our stay, was that the hotel was quiet which led to the buffet being shut and as a result we alternated between two restaurants for a week which made the food boring in the end. The quality was good, just repetitiveness was the only downside

The resort is beautiful, blending in with nature. The hotel staff is incredible and always finds a solution or answer to your questions. They all do an amazing job and I would like to particularly thank Ansha (housekeeping) and Rohit for their daily smiles and great attention to details. We had an incredible 10-day family trip and we would love to come back soon. The food at the restaurants was delicious. It is a kids-friendly resort with lots of activities for children and a great Kids club. Already recommended the resort to 2 of my friends.

Fantastic facilities and wonderfully friendly staff who were very accommodating. All of the restaurants served delicious fresh food and had a great range of wine and spirits. Beautiful beach and lots to do; the gym is well equipped, the tennis courts are in great condition, our girls loved the archery, the traditional fishing was a real treat and the glass bottom boat was a great trip. We had a few massages and spa treatments which were really relaxing. The one slight let down was the creche which was a little lacking in energy and enthusiasm but once we mentioned this to the management team they went out of their way to rectify.

A really nice hotel and great food from the different restaurants. Only thing that we was missing were some life outside the resort with some small shops and street food. But the hotel was perfect. And don’t miss out on Mauritius - you will love it.
