We loved our stay at Lozenge Hotel. The location is very convenient and in a nice area of Athens. The staff were all very helpful and made you feel at home . A great place to stay

Lovely room with balcony. Great aircon, which was needed.Staff excellent and friendly. Nice italian restaurant near which opens on a sunday. 5-10 minutes walk to main square and shopping.

Small hotel in excellent location for sightseeing, dining and shopping. Staff could not have been more helpful. Had to book two rooms since we were traveling with out two teenage granddaughters and hotel accommodated us with two adjacent rooms. Granddaughters loved the hotel Very nice little café on site with great prices. Room was large and air conditioner worked well. Doesn't have direct street access so you have to roll you bags a short distance. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in Athens

Lovely property conveniently located to metro, Acropolis and museums, and lovely walkable upscale neighborhood. Clean, bright, delicious breakfast and charming street scene on a quiet block.

This hotel is in a great area for shopping and is a nicer area of central Athens. The breakfast is a nice perk but could be stepped up a bit.

Lozenge hotel is a clean cozy hotel in good part of the old town where high end fashion stores are. Historic/tourist attractions of the old town are just less than 20 minutes walk away. Metro station is a few minutes walk away. Our room was clean and comfortable for two adults. Single con was the only window of our room had view to an unused space between buildings that was exposed to neighboring building’s windows. Breakfast buffet was included and it was inclusive of good choices. Hotel free Wi-Fi was fast with excellent reception in our room. Hotel staff were sweet, friendly, and welcoming. Christina and other staff made our trip more interesting with advices and tips. I recommend this hotel to everyone. We experienced excellent hospitality and we are happy that we stayed there.

Location was excellent. Front of hotel is on a pedestrian street with cafes and shops. No vehicle traffic except for occasional delivery scooter. High-end boutiques and upscale local retail easy walk. 3-minute walk to Syntagma Metro, Square, and Parliament. 5-star location at 4-star price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice little cafe in front to sip coffee and drinks. Quiet (for Athens) and peaceful respite, even on first floor. Housekeeping perfect. Room sufficient for relaxing, tiny but workable balcony. Front desk staff very good. Only negatives were TV not working all the time on English language channels (although we were there in the middle of a heat wave (100 F) which disrupted services) and the strange - to us - lack of washcloths for shower even though they did provide shower gel. Heartily recommend for anyone who doesn't require the 5-star treatment of a Grand Bretagne or Athens Capital type of hotel.

Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Very helpful front desk. Perfect location to be in walking distance of all the major sites without the noise.

Nice modern boutique hotel in the center of Athens. Very friendly and responsive staff. Room 304 is an L-shaped room where you are immediately greeted by a queen size bed with a long hallway to the left leading to a desk and a large marble-clad bathroom. The bathroom had a very squeaky glass door which couldn't be fixed even with oil. The air conditioning vent is placed right over the bed which means that you freeze while in bed if you leave the AC. For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend staying in this room.

EXCELLENT location. The entire staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The beds were a bit too soft so I, personally, woke up with a back ache but that's all personal preferences. The only really bad thing about it was that the drapes didn't properly block out the light @ the sides and I had to use band aids to stick them to the walls to try to close up the "seam". This all wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the poorly designed front of the hotel. ALL the lights on the front go on and there's NO WAY to turn them off on your balcony. It's all controlled by the hotel so....no sleep for me. They did offer to turn them off after a certain time and they did but only one day. Another thing that I think they should have at the hotel is recycling and promote more of an eco-friendly/aware mentality. Considering this past July we had already gone through a year's worth of natural resources (at month 7!) it would be a great benefit to the hotel, country, world. I've stayed at 5 star hotels where they leave you a little card saying if you want to conserve energy and natural resources to let them know not to change the sheets and towels daily. I'd give the hotel 10 stars if they were like that. Otherwise, as I stated above it's got a great location and staff.

We chose the Lozenge Hotel for a one night stay in Athens before flying home and it served us just fine. We arrived late in the evening and left in the morning, so we did not get to enjoy much of the surrounding area, the included breakfast or other amenities - but it served our needs just fine. It is a smaller hotel and the room we had was not very large, but it was clean and comfortable. We did walk to find a very late dinner, and noticed the surrounding area was very nice with a lot of higher end shops and security through the night. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for an affordable higher-end hotel in the nicest area of Athens.

Hotel is conveniently located in the business district just blocks from the Syntagma metro station and a short walk to Ermou and Plaka. A minor issue was handled wonderfully by the staff and everyone was super-helpful. We would definitely return.

Perfect location, quiet and close to everything and surrounded by small quaint restaurants and expensive stores, seemed very safe. Excellent free breakfast, wait staff at the hotel restaurant as well as the front desk -fantastic. Most definitely will stay there again.

The staff at the Lozenge were all very nice. At the last minute our prearranged taxi driver could not pick us up. Giota was able to contact another driver, who was there in a few minutes on a holiday. Thanks to Google we got to the airport in plenty of time. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and coffee outside.
