Check in and check out was painful, I was charged separately for the room, deposit, city tax, parking etc, they processed about six separate payments when they could have taken one, the whole process took way longer than it needed to. I asked for toothpaste in the middle of the night and they said they were busy and needed me to go down to reception for it, when only moments ago they had no problem taking an order to my room…

First of all advertised roof terrace /bar is now no longer available for hotel guests. Second, lifts were out of order and being on the 6th floor this caused my husband some difficulties as he doesn’t walk very well following a recent injury.. Third, there were guests in the hotel wearing clothes with politically offensive slogans. Not much the hotel can do about what the guests wear but it doesn’t create a nice vibe with people like that around. Hotel was also smelly and poorly ventilated. The shower gels / toiletries are also terrible - horrible smell which drifts through the hotel. Plus points: bed was nice and breakfast was good so I guess the bits that matter were ok but it wasn’t a nice stay.

Unremarkable in the main. However two major niggles. On arrival we checked into our 10th floor room. Queue for lift about 20 deep as only 1 lift in 3 actually working. Lift was slow as it was, so majorly inconvenient as we had a short turnaround before we were meeting friends for dinner. Additionally when we checked into our room, there was clearly an issue with the toilet as the water was constantly running and therefore unable to flush. We were both desperate to get into the bathroom, but couldn’t as unusable. Maintenance were fairly quick to fix which is just as well as we were informed no other room available to move to as hotel full. We missed an Uber due to time is took to get back downstairs due to lift issue. Deeply disappointing as it was a busy Saturday night as it was, and hotel were aware of the lift issues and chose to ignore.

During the two days of my stay, none out of the three lifts were working. We had an event at the 11th floor in the hotel and sometimes the staff, who was always very friendly, helped us and took us to the service lift but honestly this thing with the elevators was a total pain. Unacceptable for this type of hotel. I understand that one lift can fail, but three our of three demonstrates apathy and lack of reaction to repair something as soon as the problem is detected.

Overall the experience was good however a coiple if issues. Firstly, the receptionist who served us put us in a room in which someone was already staying, meaning i walked into a room when two females were chaging, which was beyong embarassung for both parties. When we went to the reception the chap was a bit arrogant and I was disappointed by his attitide. Secondly only one lift was working meaning the wait to get a lift was extremely long. Aside from this all else was fine.

Staff on check in were very helpful, couldn't do enough as the rooms were not quite ready. The cookies were were given were good. The rooms were clean and comfortable, very soft pillows, Didn't eat in the hotel but the food smells were lovely.

Great location, walking distance from the train station. Nothing is too far away and as is typical for a Hilton hotel it has comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms.

This is a lovely hotel, well run with friendly efficient staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast is until 10am even in the week and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again.

£25.00 for a double whiskey, just standers brand, and a glas of wine.

Got a warm and informative welcome by Diego. Room was very spacious and nice. The cleaning was excellent, and so was the breakfast. The location is perfect near Piccadilly station and close to the shopping centers and other attractions. Highly recommended!

Top quality service all in all out. Diego, Sam and Josh from front reception were exceptionally friendly and very welcoming. Sad that this is such a short trip but thank you for the excellent customer service!! I will definitely be returning. Location is right next to the shopping centre and they have their own underground gated customer car park so if you have a nice car this will definitely give you peace of mind. Mini fridge included and the bed is huge, not to mention very comfortable! Built in A/C for each room plus a huge tv! Oh, they also have a gym on the first floor! You can’t go wrong here! OHHH AND THEY GIVE FREE WARM COOKIES!!!!!!

One very readable priced hotel, that is the best quality hotel that I have stayed in. The room was well equipped, very quiet with a great walk in shower. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Look forward to staying with them again soon.

Well placed hotel, parking adjacent, room as expected. Lifts broken which made getting to the 7th floor slow when taking the bags up. Computer glitch charged 68 x what it should have for the city tax but was rectified at checkout the next morning.

I highly recommend this hotel, we visit Manchester at least once a year and this has been our favourite hotel yet. On arrival, Marianne was so lovely and informative, even checking for allergies as the complimentary cookies contain walnuts. We got room service from the adjoining restaurant and everything was delicious, as was breakfast the next day. The hotel felt very safe when we returned on the evening and an excellent car park just around the corner. We would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely stay, the minibar is complimentary and the room is of a high standard! The restaurant is very average but as far as hotel restaurants go it’s one of the better ones, though pricey for what it is. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful hotel with close proximity to the station. Great staff. Super clean Con: Air conditioning fan system started making the most horrendous noise at 3am. I was told it would take 10-15 minutes to quieten but it didn’t so had to move rooms

There is a tram line right outside the room and the noise from 5am is horrid got no sleep.

The cheerful Marianne from Reception Team gave us a warm welcome. She patiently told us the information about out stay at the hotel. I would give her 5 stars out of 5 for her services offered. The room was clean, tidy, quiet and spacious. My only complaint is: the pillows were too soft. I hope there would be choices on pillows.

Only stayed overnight so did not get to experience much. Always love the welcome cookies :-)

Nice hotel. Breakfast just ok.

Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel was fabulous except we were disappointed that the sky bar wasn’t open. This was a deciding factor in choosing the hotel. Perhaps this shouldn’t feature so prominently on your website photographs.

Perfect Location, right next to shops, the station and where you need to be in Manchester. Room is really clea, beds are amazing and cleaned after usage which was great. The lift and stairs need work thou. Both were a bit broken down and smelly. More so the staircase.

Close to train station and nice walk in to town

Everything was absolutely great especially the breakfast although being visually impaired, I found we were the only table who were not given instructions as to where everything was, that was a little disappointing. We were impressed that there was an option of poached eggs and pancakes with maple syrup! The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a bonus to have cold water chilled in the fridge. The bathroom products were of a good quality.

We arrived late at 1:00am due to flight delay. When we were checking in, they gave us 3 pieces of independently wrapped cookies which were still warm. It was impressive and caring. Facilities at the hotel were well maintained and the service quality were generally good. An excellent choice especially if you want to stay close to the train network.
