Staff were excellent. David and crew were very friendly and efficient. Older hotel, but very clean, comfortable and in a good location just outside Mystic. Currently under going some renovations that didn’t interfere with stay. Appreciated having a microwave in the room.

I requested 2 queen beds and got 1 king. There weren’t enough toiletries in the room. I was charged twice at checkout and now have to wait a week to get a refund.

The only issue I had with the hotel was the bathroom. Mostly the shower and tub, but also the toilet. The shower head was difficult to adjust and had yellowing plastic. The tub rim was super high off the ground and difficult to step up into and I am 6 feet tall and it was very difficult to get into for my 5 foot tall wife. We each thought we were going to slip and fall every time we got in or out. The shower curtain let water go all over the floor even though I was trying not to let that happen. The toilet seat was misaligned with toilet rim and it slipped around when sitting on it. Also, the door to the room and all of the non automatic exterior doors of the property didn’t quite line up with the door latches and made opening and shutting all doors very difficult and very loud. Everything else about the room and stay were great. Every employee was super courteous and helpful. Just some issues with the property that need to be brought up since I paid almost 700 for a two night stay. I have no problem paying for quality. But paying that much and getting the physical quality of the property that we got doesn’t sit right with me. I am not the type to whine or leave negative reviews for places I go, but I was very dissatisfied with the bathroom and the exterior doors.

Room was musty. I have a larger TV in my garage at home. Fire alarm went off at 2:30am had to evacuate hotel for a half hour until we got the all clear from the fire department.

The front desk staff was friendly and accomodating. The doors to the room were heavy and sticking. Stores are close by 20 minutes from the beaches.

Beautifully furnished lobby and room, with all the amenities needed. Check in was speedy and seamless, and we were welcomed warmly.

The hotel and room were both clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the towels, having recently experienced poor conditions at a higher rated Hilton hotel. Even with a wedding party present, the stay proved quiet and comfortable until our last morning when the fire alarm blared loudly throughout causing the onset of a headache. It is suspected the hotel is not at fault, however, it made our morning a bit hectic.

The hotel was nice & we slept well. Unfortunately, we were awakened by a malfunctioning fire alarm and had to evacuate the building. We went back inside once the issue appeared to be resolved and decided to eat breakfast. The alarm went off again while we were eating. Since we knew there wasn’t a fire, we ate our breakfast but the alarm was so loud, it was not very enjoyable. While we slept well, the morning was too hectic for us to enjoy the remainder of our stay.

I would come here again and again. The service was amazing! All staff was SO friendly. The chef there - omg! The food was AMAZING, despite the small menu! All homemade and you could tell. Seasoned to the heavens. Clean room, beautiful room too. Clean, well-maintained pool open til 10pm. Gorgeous place honestly. Worth the money, worth your time! Don't think twice about booking this one.

Our family stays at this property at least 2 to 3 times a year. It is quiet and convenient to many locations. However, this day was not as up to par as we normally encounter. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathtub drain was completely exposed. Also, we attempted to utilize the pool. The water was cold, and the flooring is disintegrating, as well as the pool furniture was uncomfortable and rusting. I believe there needs to be some renovations and updates to some of these areas.

Couldn’t get into first room b/c door handle wouldn’t open, key card worked. We had to lug all our stuff back to front desk to be told the handles stick and you have to do this and that to open it. I was like no. Got a new room which smelled like smoking room. Too tired to go for a 3rd room at this point and we had somewhere to be. Next day we mentioned it and they used an odor digestor, it helped plus we added an air fragrance. Also requested toilet paper twice (a.m & p.m) on the 2nd day since we only had a 1/2 roll out to start with. There are 2 dispensers. We never got it. Called front desk on day 3 and was told they have none. Whole hotel is out. I asked how should we proceed with this? They offered Kleenex and brought it with one roll of tp to us. There’s a Walmart connected to hotel parking lot!!!
At check in I confirmed a room cleaning would be need on day 3. I saw housekeepers who said we were not on schedule but they agreed to help us change sheets, towels and garbage. Housekeepers were great!
This was our 3rd year coming to this hotel and never had a bad experience. Sadly we won’t be back.

This hilton should step their game up or lower their prices. No free breakfast and the $14 buffet isnt worth it. Ive had better free breakfast than one I paid for. When i got to my room it had a stinky feet smell and the water pressure in the shower sucked. Also to make it worse the beds are very firm and uncomfortable.

The staff that assisted us at the front desk was wonderful. We were surprised that the indoor pool was not heated. We did have a dog in the room next door to us that was constantly barking, thankfully when it was time to go to bed it stopped.

One night stay when my daughter and I were visiting for a Stevie nicks concert. Need I say more? We didn’t need much. But apart from an initial mishap when we were given a room that wasn’t ready yet, which was quickly rectified, the stay was wonderful. Beautiful place, very clean, great amenities and location. Less than 20 minutes to Mystic and the olde shoppes and mystic pizza!

There was no a/c in the lobby (and apparently it’s been broken for several days). It was not possible to have dinner in the restaurant because it was so uncomfortable. It’s 2024—how could there not be a couple of USB ports in the room? The freezer part of the refrigerator was so frozen over, I could not an ice pack in it. When we checked in, the manager at the desk was so unfamiliar with the area that he could not recommend a place for dinner and the printed list was unreadable.

Had a great stay with usual Hilton Garden Inn quality and service - friendly and fast checkin; clean room and usual amenities (lamps/desk a tad outdated but did not look worn). They appeared to have the usual GardenInn breakfast (not included) but I did not eat here; plenty of options around. Would stay again when in the area.

Location was just off the freeway, within 20 minutes of Mohegan for our volleyball tournament. We didn’t use any amenities due to our schedule but the room was good size, clean, and quiet.
