First time in Cambodia and we both loved it ,holtel in a perfect location close to everything ,staff in the holtel are very friendly and very polite, our cleaners young lad and girl who was very good nothing was a bother to them ,we had xmas dinner in the holtel it was 10/10 service and food was fantastic. The only thing want needs to be changed is the floor surface around the pool as I seen many ppl slip included my self but apart from that i could not fault this holtel it was amazing we will definitely be back here.

The staff from the start made us very welcome. The rooms are clean and the air con is very efficient. The pool area is relaxing with exotic plants and trees, and kept clean and tidy.The furnishings in the hotel include some wonderful carved wooden pieces. The only downside was the beds are very firm , I had to make a topper out of a spare duvet. The hotel is located within a short walk to the town and markets, with lots of restaurants to choose from. Its easy to find tuk tuk to take you to the Angkor Archeological park. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Great location. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff especially at the front desk. All our rooms were assigned and checking in and out were a breeze. Great breakfast spread.

I enjoyed my stay here and the hotel is very nice. My room was comfy and the shower was great (very hot). On our last day staying, we had a tour as this is a tourist town. We were running late and our guide was waiting outside in the heat.he told us your guides aren't allowed to wait for guests inside the hotel lobby because the hotel doesn't like the guides being in there now that the resort is a 5 star place. It was hot out and the lobby is huge. There's really no reason to treat people like that. It turned us off of this hotel. The whole town is about tourism, everyone should be treated with kindness and respect. We ended up extending out stay for other reasons, and chose not to continue our stay here. The star rating is not important but how you treat people is.

Ok and average hotel. Nice location in walking distance from city center. Nice breakfast a bit above average (nothing special but OK). Helpful staff. The gym is very poor. Cross-trainer only worked partly and running-band got overheated for each 10 minutes. I tried to explain the staff that they need to fix it, but no success. As a “bonus” I got an offer from the bartender if I would like to go outside with him!

Good breakfast. Close to Pub Street. What will keep us from going back is the Wifi/Internet. Had to go sit in the lobby area to book hotel at our next destination.

The bathrooms have no refills and in the showers there is no place to keep the soap, Shampoos or Conditioners . The tray is broken and when requested to change the rooms, they said every room has same issues !! Disappointing because we stayed 4 days there .

Excellent spot to explore Angkor ! Staff were friendly, rooms were clean. Beds on firm side. Pool was great. Breakfast mostly Asian options, plus an omelet making station. Can’t beat the price - would stay here again.

Location was excellent. On a main street but setback to allow privacy and security. Quiet lovely hotel and the staff was so amenable to any request. Breakfast was the best with a wide range of choices in a clean beautiful dining room. Loved it. Room was a little dated but just fine for our needs. November 2019 visit.

The decor was beautiful, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the cocktails at the swim up bar were strong and delicious, the buffet dinner and Cambodian traditional dance show were great, and the location was perfect.

My 3rd time at this hotel, overall it’s good. Friendly staff to cleanliness of rooms. It’s in nice quiet area set back from road. Walking distance to market and pub streets. New mall called heritage walk nice restaurant and few stores and Starbucks Be my choice once back again

Particularly have to give a huge thanks and high five to Panha at the front desk for all the help above and bringing a birthday cake to my friend on the day of her bday. We found the hotel to be very relaxing and the décor was beautiful.The staff were amazing and were always very polite and would do what ever they could to help. We stayed at Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa for 14 days. We had two rooms one for my son and the other for my wife and myself. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool. Part of staying there we had the use of the jacuzzies, which had separated male and female, as well as the stream room, sauna and the use of the exercise equipment which was free to staying guests. A full buffet breakfast, which included a large selection of food. Having worked in the hospitality industry I was very surprised at the large selection on offer and there was something to suit all tastes and very enjoyable. Though we did find the mattress in our room was very hard, but when we approached the reception staff about it they told us they would find a room that had a softer mattress and would also help us move our belonging to the new room. As we had booked two rooms it turned out that our sons room had a softer mattress and he switched with us. I required extra pillows which were quickly supplied. I have to say that Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa was and is a pleasurable hotel to stay at and they are in walking distance to Pub Street, Night Markets and the Old Markets or for $2 take a tuk tuk. We will be returning again and will defiantly be staying at this hotel again.

The best part about this hotel is the pool. It was very clean and there were towels for us with easy access. The location was great, at the core of tourist area in Siem Reap, close to Pub Street and close to the roads leading to the Angkor temples. On the first day my family decided to try out the lunch they had at the hotel restaurant. The food was find and the pricing was average for that area. However, we were confused by the hotel fee/tax. It was never clearly explained to us. This tax is probably not legal. We didn't really dispute it, but it discouraged me from buying any food later during my stay. The breakfast was great though!

Very polite staff. AC in one of the rooms was not working properly but the hotel fixed it. However, the cooling was still not too good.

We have a wonderful time here in the hotel.
