Would love for hotels to have dedicated recycling receptacles. Be careful when you book to see if breakfast is included in your rate or not.

One of the cleanest, nicest hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The staff clearly takes pride in their work and want their customers to have a great experience.
When we arrived, there were cookies at the front desk and we were greeted promptly and in a friendly manner.
While we were there, the front lobby was mopped at least 2 times, showing the amount of effort put into cleaning. We could even see that the cleaning staff were opening drawers and checking those while cleaning the empty rooms.
Very happy with the stay and will stay again next time I am in Detroit.

Looked for a decent place to crash on a two day golf trip. This was perfectly located, affordable and close to a couple restaurants. My super-picky buddy commented "you picked a good one here." I'd give it 8.5/10. Wished the breakfast was included but can't have it all.

We enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Made to order breakfast was good. The only issue we had was we booked a room with a pull out couch for our son. It was terrible. Just springs. Next time we will get a room with 2 beds.

Well priced. Good alternative to expensive downtown Detroit hotels if, like me, you're coming in for a Tiger or Lion game---about 35 minutes to Comerica and Ford stadiums. Hilton Garden Inn always seems tidy and modern.

Great stay, except the quality of the breakfast buffet was equal or less than what you get for free at other places. Would not pay that much for breakfast there again. Otherwise great stay.

There were a LOT of teenagers staying the same night we were there. Not sure where their chaperones were, if they had any, because they were quite loud. We were expecting a quiet stay, but that was not the case. Also, the complimentary cookies — something we look forward to — were not available due to teenage hunger. Kind of a disappointment for us.
On the upside, our room was very clean, especially the bathroom. The staff at the bar was very helpful and accommodating.
So, we had high points and low points. Should we stay at this again, I will be sure to inquire as to whether there is a large group staying the same night(s) we are.

Jessica and Jessica were sensational. Check-in was quick and easy, even asked which floor I would prefer.
Room was clean tidy and comfortable. There was a large school group so the lobby and elevators were constantly busy but still negotiable.

First time in eight yrs that we were charged a pet fee for a registered emotional support dog !! Charged 75.00 dollars plus tax for Ten lb Shih Tzu. Pretty steep and calloused! Write Hilton hotel chain off our lodging choices!!☹️☹️☹️

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The water pressure could’ve been a little stronger in the bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend and stay with there again when I’m in the area.

This was the first time i stayed at a Hilton Garden, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were also, and i usually bring my own pillows but this time the weren't needed. It was very quiet, very nice atmosphere, thanks for a great stay.

When checking out, front desk told us they will email us the receipt but we have not received it. When checking in, there was no direction to the elevator so we had to look for it. Room was clean. Breakfast was an additional charge but food was no different from free breakfast of other hotels.

this property was clean however, the midnight staff gave me the hardest time ever. I booked and paid for the stay on Expedia and once I got to the hotel the man at the front desk refused to look at my receipt from expedia showing i paid in full, so he said he needed my card again for "incidentals" and to hold incase my payment didn't go through (even though I had confirmation expedia, and receipt showing I did). So I waited until morning because I saw that I was actually charged twice. So Sophia (morning staff that worked the desk) helped me tremendously. I was issued a full refund and was very graceful during the process. If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't ever stay there again. Sophia is an angel.
