The stay was great. The room was very clean. The staff were top notch. Property could stand some refurb. Example, paint pealing off building, landscape was more weeds than anything, room was great except tube as the overflow drain was completely rusted causing tube base to be discolored. None of which affected our stay.

We have stayed at this hotel a lot over the years but it’s time for an update! Interior and grounds need attention. Bed linens were such that one just got twisted in all the loose sheets, making for a miserable night. Old towels.

Everything was great except the hotel was packed with young baseball players and was VERY LOUD. I had planned on swimming and enjoying the pool but that was NOT possible. The pool was cloudy and disgusting, and probably way tooooooo many people in the pool. The kids were running rampant in the halls, shouting, slamming doors, and being obnoxious kids. Their adult supervisers were not much better. Since I had planned on a nice quiet weekend of reflection since I was in Des Moines for a memorial service, I was very disappointed that I didn't get that or much sleep. I feel like I should have been offered a discounted rate at least. I probably would not stay here again, although my room was beyond comfortable : )

The lock on my door was wiggly. I had to work to make sure it would stay shut. The room was fine, clean, comfortable. I missed having to go to the lobby to get cream for my coffee in the morning. There wasn't even any in the lobby to take for the next morning. But the lady at the front desk was very nice when I checked in and out!

Front desk worker could not find reservation and took two hours of calling the third party twice to finally find reservation. I will never stay here again.

The Staff is fantastic and the property is in a good location. The hotel for the most part is in good condition our room was fine yet the bathroom was another story it showed signs of wear and past repairs. The sink would barely drain and was plugged up with a gross black crud that had been accumulating for a long time. Bathroom sink drains need to be cleaned periodically as hair, make-up and soap will collect on the drain opening and closing control becoming a disgusting unsanitary mess. We paid a good amount for lodging at this hotel and expected better maintenance of their rooms. There was severe weather in the area and spent time in safe area and didn’t notice the sink until late that evening. I informed the staff when checking out so the next guest wouldn’t experience what we did.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we knew we had chosen the best hotel for us. The night staff were so friendly and amazing. The entrance was beautiful! The rooms did not disappoint. So clean and beautiful. The bed had me sleeping throughout the night. Would definitely recommend!!

It was fine

Loved the stay but I booked a king with a sofa bed and my room didn’t have a sofa bed so that was a bummer. We made it work istead of asking for a different room.

Room was nice. Disappointed that the property couldn’t have provided complimentary coffee in the am. Had a bar/kitchen that closed at 10 am. Closed off community area to non volleyball groups. Room coffee is inferior! Hate to have too leave property on a weekend morning for coffee.

This was a newish and nice hotel in a very good neighborhood. Dear Management-- your rooms are nice enough, but someone needs to take a look at the repair and caulking work in room 226 bathroom. It looks amateurish; almost as if I told my 7 year old to caulk around the toilet and the tub. Also, the shower has been squirting water on the ceiling for a while now, and unless someone fixes that shower head leak, your bathroom ceiling is going to be ruined. It really detracts from an otherwise nice facility.

The mattresses are too old as well as the pillows. Towels were so bleached stiff and rough.

It was a great one night family get away. The kids all had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Nice facility in newer area. Breakfast wasn’t free but it was best room value around.

I have always tried to stay at Marriott Courtyards. Very consistent and a great value. Only suggestion on this location is better signage and lighting. I always recommend Courtyards.

Quiet and relaxing

Bed was uncomfortable. Only soft pillows. Bathroom shower had long hairs on the wall. Rugs could be shampooed. I’ve stayed at other Marriott’s and never had an issue with their beds plus they always have a set of soft and firm pillows.

Very close to everything! Can’t say anything bad or changeable for the property… we had a nice stay… wish breakfast was included.

Lobby was filled with families, presumably a reunion, but it was loud and chaotic. People were everywhere, even spilling into business center, hallways, bar. Waiting 15 mins to be helped and was greeted by sweaty bald attendant who seemed overwhelmed and dismissive. Got to the room, which was clean except for hair around base of toilet. Bed was comfortable but lots of noise through the walls and outside the room until well into the morning. Cranked our white noise maker and pretended we were sleeping in a subway. Difficult night of sleep.

Nice enough place, no continental breakfast. Called hotel when I made the reservation to verify handicap accessibility for my son in wheelchair. I asked for roll in shower as we brought his shower chair. When arrived was told no handicap rooms were available. We were also on the 4th floor with instructions in the elevator no to use in case of fire! Not sure what we were supposed to do.

SUPER impressed with this hotel. We called and asked about an early check in. We were in the area for medical appointments for our son. The lady on duty had us a room ready @ 11am. Very clean, very satisfied. If needed we will return. 5 star for sure

Fresh and clean. Decent lighting which is important to me. I’m always glad to have a mini fridge. I did overlook the fact that breakfast was not included when I booked. I’m so used to having it in these types of hotels. It is available for purchase however. We weren’t hungry anyway. The location is good for shopping and dining. It’s a fairly quick drive to the airport too.

Not as nice as other Courtyard properties I’ve stayed in

Despite prepaying for our room, it was sold to someone else before our arrival. We were given a smaller room with less beds. In a room next to loud and unsupervised teenagers. The staff directly told us they didn't have to honor our reservation and treated us as if we didn't count as guests and they could do nothing for us because we booked through a 3rd party. Hotels.com negotiated a 20% discount for the room, which the hotel did not give us. I had to call Hotels.com to finally get that almost a week later. Also, despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, cleaning staff and management came to our room twice before 10AM to disturb us about checking out. Even though checkout is supposed to be noon. All in all, the staff was rude, unapologetic and dissmissive. Won't be booking at a Courtyard again since 3rd party bookings seem to be such an inconvenience for them. Hotels.com went above and beyond to compensate for Courtyard's lack of service.
