Lovely hotel in a nice, safe location. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast options were great. Would gladly visit again.

The La Quinta itself was nice, front desk service was friendly and kind, for the most part it was clean and our stay was good. A few things were just that the mattresses are very hard, and uncomfortable to sleep in. The shower pressure was a little painful, and the shower curtain road was hanging onto the wall by a thread, this results in water getting everywhere, the floor getting wet, and the wall was rotting near the shower as well. Lastly, about half way through our stay we looked at the wooden headboard and it appeared like these was some sort of liquid that was there but not wiped off. Overall, the stay was nice, just a few things that turned us off to staying again.

Our stay was very good with the exception of the very loose bathtub spout and the metal ring underneath; quite disappointing. However, considering the price of the room, acceptable with caution for the next reservation.

We were woke up at 09:00am by the staff mowing the lawn on a Saturday. Also we asked for a late check out and were told that was fine for 12:00. Staff knocked on our door repeatedly, so asking for a late checkout was a waste of time.

Our Stay at this La Quinta was amazing. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the indoor pool with hot tub was a definite bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

The TV was hard to use and find channels. The worst was the bathroom. Moldy walls, shower curtain rod that was Abbott to fall down that allowed water all over the floor. A loose toilet that moved when used.

Ice machine was broken, water was cold no matter how long we waited, toilet almost fell over every time we used it, smell around the entire building was bad.

We have stayed previously and absolutely had a great experience. This time around in our room there was a broken lamp the door to restroom did not close the tile in the restroom was moving and toilet was not to stable.

It was awesome. Staff was super helpful and friendly, room and amenities as advertised. Check in check out was easy. Only complaint was some details on the condition of the room. The shower would leak onto the floor and the tile on the bathroom floor was loose, but it seemed like they were doing work around the hotel so it was likely going to be fixed. Great price, service, and room. Will consider staying again next time we come to Olathe!

Not great, room was mostly clean, but looks like it hadn’t been mopped in months. Average stay. Parking for oversized vehicles or trailers was a joke. Park on the dirt/muddy lot beside the hotel.

Very close to Olathe hospital … clean and comfortable. AC wasn’t the greatest - although it was hot and did the job.

It was good enough for one night stay. The refrigerator was buzzing so loudly we couldn't sleep. We were close to the exit stairs and the door squeaked and slammed Everytime someone went out. Someone had set the alarm clock for a ridiculous hour and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off and we couldn't unplug it either. With all the noise, we did not get a good night of sleep.

We needed two hours extension on the day we left and talked to two guys who were in the office at the time. They told us that they are the owners. The two guys promised us that it is okay, we could stay until 2:00 pm. At 12:00 pm, a lady who called herself a manager called and told us to leave with in 10 minutes. That was so uncomfortable and a big lie on us. This people tricked us by promising something they do not provide (the two hours extension time, which was very vital for us). In general, I do not trust them anymore and I do not turn mu face to them again.

I reserved a normal single king bed room and was put in a handicap room with no tub and the bed was the worse i have ever had at a Motel. I felt like I was sleeping in a trough and the bed smelled of old body order *(like a locker room).

Our stay was fine. La Quinta hotel was mostly clean and the staff was great. The only real issue was a HUGE great dane size pile of dog poo that sat right by the back entrance ON the sidewalk for the 3 days that we were there. I never told anyone to clean it up because I was curious whether or not they'd figure it out themselves. They never did. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. Good breafast.

Main entry was very nice but smelled highly of chlorine. The 3 beds were perfect. The shower/bath needs to be updated and a exhuast fan installed. The moisture from the shower soaks everything.

The hotel was very clean. That’s the only positive. The elevator was broken and we had to carry our luggage to the second floor. The pool was very cold and the hot tub didn’t work, just barely warm. There was a definite smell of animal in the hotel. Also, the AC would sometimes work in the room. The lobby for breakfast was very warm, seemed like the AC wasn’t working at all in there. Very loud people in the hallways very very late at night and you could hear everything. Was hard to sleep. Would not pick this hotel ever again.

Positives: comfortable bed, large room, no smell of animals or smoke though pet friendly, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety!
Cons: pool was only open until 10 pm on a Friday (and they were quick to close it down and kick us out, which after a long drive all the kids wanted to do was swim), the rooms smelled clean but so strong of bleach it gave my husband a headache, and our room had ants.

Front desk female was very unpleasant and not friendly.
The elevator was broke all weekend. The hot tub, very small, was not working.
Rooms are rough, need an update and good cleaning, one wall had a “patch” job on the ceiling and wall where there was a previous water leak.
Just unfriendly staff.
