Got to stay on the 19th floor, and the room and view were truly amazing. This is a great hotel in the heart of Lancaster.

Beautiful hotel, but would like a microwave and room service. it was difficult to not have a microwave or room service.

No valet, no bellhop, must park in parking garage at convention center and none of which they tell you in person or online. Room was dusty and many areas of the room have not ever been cleaned. Zoom in on photos and you can see what I’m talking about.
One of the three restaurants is only open for breakfast, the other two only take walkins to sit/stand at bar as they only seat you in the dining room with a reservation; even with empty tables everywhere. Not at all customer friendly and definitely don’t care you are staying at hotel.

Nice welcome upon arrival. The employees are professional and caring. Quality accommodations are located in a trending area. There is a Farmers Market, one of the oldest, located across the street. Check the dates/ times that it is open. Museums, shopping, and Franklin and Marshall are within an easy distance. Parking at this central city location is easy; the parking garage is a city facility. Note: Check-in and then drive to the garage. The Marriott and baggage carts are accessible on the second floor of the garage. We enjoyed the hotel's quiet atmosphere located in the heart of Lancaster.

This was the first time ever being in the "city" of Lancaster, so it is very different than the Amish/Farmland I am use to, but it was a very nice stay. There is off site parking, but the parking garage is very easy to get to, but you are charged a daily rate for parking there. Also, note that there are a lot of ONE WAY streets there.....soooooo just keep that in mind while you are in the area. I would not want anyone to go down a one way street by accident.... not saying anyone did that, but, there is that. (haha). Go, Enjoy! It is a perfect spot close to a lot of things!

Marriott hotel in Penn Square occupies an old department store (lobby, reception, restaurants) and has two tall towers.
Room was on a 6th floor corner with huge panoramic windows on two sides. Bathroom had a great shower and was ample.I’ll mention two inexcusable faults. I’m very detail oriented. For the price, the bottom sheet and mattress protector were not big enough for the bed. The three receptacles for shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower I was hardly able to reach them and instead of being placed in a logical place they were on the same wall as the shower head. Go figure: I couldn’t reach the soap bottle and I am getting rained on my head. Why don’t hotel managers think before they remodel bathrooms!!!!!

The check-in process was very inconvenient. We arrived around 4:10pm and was told rudely our room wasn’t ready and they would let us know. No one wants to hear that after a long drive. They ended up texting us an hour later. The room was clean, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was hard/firm and creaked at any movement. There would be random times in the middle night where we would hear a loud metal clanking noise that would wake us up out of our sleep. Overall we felt un-rested here during our stay and probably won’t stay here again next time we visit Lancaster.

I did an overnight stay to attend Sight and Sound show. When I got back there were so many people standing outside to get in a club. Went to my room and didn't hear a peep of what was happening outside. My stay was quiet, comfortable and relaxing.

Hotel is comfortable, clean and pleasant. The staff is most helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help. It's conveniently located near many sites and a great location for walking. Parking is extra per night at a fair cost. It's nice to have the pathway from the 2nd floor to the garage without having to go out in bad weather or if you have heavy items. Wish they had a plan where breakfast was included. Although there is no shortage of good places nearby, sometimes you just want to start your day closer to your "home away from home." The plan could be optional with a specified cost. That way those who don't want to eat in every day can still have the option of going out. Thanks for an enjoyable stay and keep up the good work.

The hotel was like magical just walking into the lobby i felt like royalty and the gentleman at the front desk very personable and helpful with dining options. The room was gorgeous and the view was to die for i definitely have to return because one day or some hours rather wasnt enough to soak in everything thus jewel have to offer

This was my third stay in this hotel. Everytime the elevator has malfunctioned. I had to walk down six flights as no elevators were working when I had to leave hotel.

I was very disappointed in my overall stay. Overpriced but good location. The front desk lady couldn't find my reservation and it was almost like since I made it from Hotels.com instead of direct through Marriott she wasn't going to honor the reservation email that I had. The room itself was adequate, but felt moist when you walked in and the air conditioning really didn't get cold. The tub drained slowly so as I showered I quickly had a pool of water at my feet and the coffee machine was broken so when my husband went to make a cup of coffee water just spilled all over the place. We had to buy a cup downstairs at Starbucks instead. Go to the Cork Factory Hotel instead.

Overall the stay was good only issue was trying to check in. One of the front desk worker was extremely rude and was not helpful at all. I provided first name last name and confirmation number and she couldn’t find it and insisted we did have a reservation. It wasn’t until another worked got freed up and came over and helped and was able to find the reservation quick.

I liked the room and staff was very helpful. However if you are attaching your hotel to a venue for recommendations then it should be the expectation that people will check in early. Not the excuse of transparent check in times. You are making money from the bride and grooms recommendations. Your priority shoul be to accommodate the guests attending this wedding.

I was there for a conference the bar was completely full of my associates and they closed the bar at 11 and pushed at least 100 people out. The smaller of the two bartenders was RUDE.
The mattress was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on a wooden board.
Way over priced plus I was never told I had to pay to park.
We have conference at hotels where we can socialize and congregate after meetings and this was not a good situation.
